CVE-2026-33416 2 Libpng, Pnggroup 2 Libpng, Libpng 2026-04-02 7.5 High
LIBPNG is a reference library for use in applications that read, create, and manipulate PNG (Portable Network Graphics) raster image files. In versions 1.2.1 through 1.6.55, `png_set_tRNS` and `png_set_PLTE` each alias a heap-allocated buffer between `png_struct` and `png_info`, sharing a single allocation across two structs with independent lifetimes. The `trans_alpha` aliasing has been present since at least libpng 1.0, and the `palette` aliasing since at least 1.2.1. Both affect all prior release lines `png_set_tRNS` sets `png_ptr->trans_alpha = info_ptr->trans_alpha` (256-byte buffer) and `png_set_PLTE` sets `info_ptr->palette = png_ptr->palette` (768-byte buffer). In both cases, calling `png_free_data` (with `PNG_FREE_TRNS` or `PNG_FREE_PLTE`) frees the buffer through `info_ptr` while the corresponding `png_ptr` pointer remains dangling. Subsequent row-transform functions dereference and, in some code paths, write to the freed memory. A second call to `png_set_tRNS` or `png_set_PLTE` has the same effect, because both functions call `png_free_data` internally before reallocating the `info_ptr` buffer. Version 1.6.56 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-4358 1 Mongodb 2 Mongodb, Mongodb Server 2026-04-02 6.4 Medium
A specially crafted aggregation query with $lookup by an authenticated user with write privileges can cause a double-free or use-after-free memory issue in the slot-based execution (SBE) engine when an in-memory hash table is spilled to disk.
CVE-2026-23245 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-02 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_gate: snapshot parameters with RCU on replace The gate action can be replaced while the hrtimer callback or dump path is walking the schedule list. Convert the parameters to an RCU-protected snapshot and swap updates under tcf_lock, freeing the previous snapshot via call_rcu(). When REPLACE omits the entry list, preserve the existing schedule so the effective state is unchanged.
CVE-2026-23270 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-02 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: Only allow act_ct to bind to clsact/ingress qdiscs and shared blocks As Paolo said earlier [1]: "Since the blamed commit below, classify can return TC_ACT_CONSUMED while the current skb being held by the defragmentation engine. As reported by GangMin Kim, if such packet is that may cause a UaF when the defrag engine later on tries to tuch again such packet." act_ct was never meant to be used in the egress path, however some users are attaching it to egress today [2]. Attempting to reach a middle ground, we noticed that, while most qdiscs are not handling TC_ACT_CONSUMED, clsact/ingress qdiscs are. With that in mind, we address the issue by only allowing act_ct to bind to clsact/ingress qdiscs and shared blocks. That way it's still possible to attach act_ct to egress (albeit only with clsact). CVE-2026-23413 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-02 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clsact: Fix use-after-free in init/destroy rollback asymmetry Fix a use-after-free in the clsact qdisc upon init/destroy rollback asymmetry. The latter is achieved by first fully initializing a clsact instance, and then in a second step having a replacement failure for the new clsact qdisc instance. clsact_init() initializes ingress first and then takes care of the egress part. This can fail midway, for example, via tcf_block_get_ext(). Upon failure, the kernel will trigger the clsact_destroy() callback. Commit 1cb6f0bae504 ("bpf: Fix too early release of tcx_entry") details the way how the transition is happening. If tcf_block_get_ext on the q->ingress_block ends up failing, we took the tcx_miniq_inc reference count on the ingress side, but not yet on the egress side. clsact_destroy() tests whether the {ingress,egress}_entry was non-NULL. However, even in midway failure on the replacement, both are in fact non-NULL with a valid egress_entry from the previous clsact instance. What we really need to test for is whether the qdisc instance-specific ingress or egress side previously got initialized. This adds a small helper for checking the miniq initialization called mini_qdisc_pair_inited, and utilizes that upon clsact_destroy() in order to fix the use-after-free scenario. Convert the ingress_destroy() side as well so both are consistent to each other.
CVE-2026-23416 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-02 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/mseal: update VMA end correctly on merge Previously we stored the end of the current VMA in curr_end, and then upon iterating to the next VMA updated curr_start to curr_end to advance to the next VMA. However, this doesn't take into account the fact that a VMA might be updated due to a merge by vma_modify_flags(), which can result in curr_end being stale and thus, upon setting curr_start to curr_end, ending up with an incorrect curr_start on the next iteration. Resolve the issue by setting curr_end to vma->vm_end unconditionally to ensure this value remains updated should this occur. While we're here, eliminate this entire class of bug by simply setting const curr_[start/end] to be clamped to the input range and VMAs, which also happens to simplify the logic.

CVE-2026-34510 1 Openclaw 1 Openclaw 2026-04-02 5.3 Medium
OpenClaw before 2026.3.22 contains a path traversal vulnerability in Windows media loaders that accepts remote-host file URLs and UNC-style paths before local-path validation. Attackers can exploit this by providing network-hosted file targets that are treated as local content, bypassing intended access restrictions.
CVE-2026-34451 1 Anthropics 1 Anthropic-sdk-typescript 2026-04-02 N/A
Claude SDK for TypeScript provides access to the Claude API from server-side TypeScript or JavaScript applications. From version 0.79.0 to before version 0.81.0, the local filesystem memory tool in the Anthropic TypeScript SDK validated model-supplied paths using a string prefix check that did not append a trailing path separator. A model steered by prompt injection could supply a crafted path that resolved to a sibling directory sharing the memory root's name as a prefix, allowing reads and writes outside the sandboxed memory directory. This issue has been patched in version 0.81.0.
