Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Hyper-V allows an authorized attacker to execute code locally.
Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Kernel allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
OpenClaw versions prior to commit 8aceaf5 contain a preflight validation bypass vulnerability in shell-bleed protection that allows attackers to execute blocked script content by using piped or complex command forms that the parser fails to recognize. Attackers can craft commands such as piped execution, command substitution, or subshell invocation to bypass the validateScriptFileForShellBleed() validation checks and execute arbitrary script content that would otherwise be blocked.
Adobe Framemaker versions 2022.8 and earlier are affected by an Integer Underflow (Wrap or Wraparound) vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
Adobe Framemaker versions 2022.8 and earlier are affected by an Integer Underflow (Wrap or Wraparound) vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
XZ Utils provide a general-purpose data-compression library plus command-line tools. Prior to version 5.8.3, if lzma_index_decoder() was used to decode an Index that contained no Records, the resulting lzma_index was left in a state where where a subsequent lzma_index_append() would allocate too little memory, and a buffer overflow would occur. This issue has been patched in version 5.8.3.
Adobe Framemaker versions 2022.8 and earlier are affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could lead to memory exposure. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information stored in memory. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
Buffer over-read in Windows GDI+ allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network.
Heap buffer overflow in libvpx. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 147.0.4, Firefox ESR 140.7.1, Firefox ESR 115.32.1, Thunderbird 140.7.2, and Thunderbird 147.0.2.
Addressable is an alternative implementation to the URI implementation that is part of Ruby's standard library. From 2.3.0 to before 2.9.0, within the URI template implementation in Addressable, two classes of URI template generate regular expressions vulnerable to catastrophic backtracking. Templates using the * (explode) modifier with any expansion operator (e.g., {foo*}, {+var*}, {#var*}, {/var*}, {.var*}, {;var*}, {?var*}, {&var*}) generate patterns with nested unbounded quantifiers that are O(2^n) when matched against a maliciously crafted URI. Templates using multiple variables with the + or # operators (e.g., {+v1,v2,v3}) generate patterns with O(n^k) complexity due to the comma separator being within the matched character class, causing ambiguous backtracking across k variables. When matched against a maliciously crafted URI, this can result in catastrophic backtracking and uncontrolled resource consumption, leading to denial of service. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.9.0.
Incorrect boundary conditions in the WebRTC: Audio/Video component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148, Firefox ESR 115.33, Firefox ESR 140.8, Thunderbird 148, and Thunderbird 140.8.
Incorrect boundary conditions in the Graphics: ImageLib component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148, Firefox ESR 115.33, Firefox ESR 140.8, Thunderbird 148, and Thunderbird 140.8.
Sandbox escape due to incorrect boundary conditions in the Graphics: WebRender component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148, Firefox ESR 115.33, Firefox ESR 140.8, Thunderbird 148, and Thunderbird 140.8.
Integer overflow in the Audio/Video component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148, Firefox ESR 115.33, Firefox ESR 140.8, Thunderbird 148, and Thunderbird 140.8.
NordVPN 6.19.6 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by submitting an excessively long string in the email input field. Attackers can paste a buffer of 100,000 characters into the email field during login to trigger an application crash.
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
f2fs: fix out-of-bounds access in sysfs attribute read/write
Some f2fs sysfs attributes suffer from out-of-bounds memory access and
incorrect handling of integer values whose size is not 4 bytes.
For example:
vm:~# echo 65537 > /sys/fs/f2fs/vde/carve_out
vm:~# cat /sys/fs/f2fs/vde/carve_out
65537
vm:~# echo 4294967297 > /sys/fs/f2fs/vde/atgc_age_threshold
vm:~# cat /sys/fs/f2fs/vde/atgc_age_threshold
1
carve_out maps to {struct f2fs_sb_info}->carve_out, which is a 8-bit
integer. However, the sysfs interface allows setting it to a value
larger than 255, resulting in an out-of-range update.
atgc_age_threshold maps to {struct atgc_management}->age_threshold,
which is a 64-bit integer, but its sysfs interface cannot correctly set
values larger than UINT_MAX.
The root causes are:
1. __sbi_store() treats all default values as unsigned int, which
prevents updating integers larger than 4 bytes and causes out-of-bounds
writes for integers smaller than 4 bytes.
2. f2fs_sbi_show() also assumes all default values are unsigned int,
leading to out-of-bounds reads and incorrect access to integers larger
than 4 bytes.
This patch introduces {struct f2fs_attr}->size to record the actual size
of the integer associated with each sysfs attribute. With this
information, sysfs read and write operations can correctly access and
update values according to their real data size, avoiding memory
corruption and truncation. |
Initialization of a resource with an insecure default in Azure Compute Gallery allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
Heap buffer overflow in the Audio/Video: Playback component in Firefox for Android. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148.0.2.
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 148.0.2. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148.0.2.
`simple-git`, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, has an issue in versions 3.15.0 through 3.32.2 that allows an attacker to bypass two prior CVE fixes (CVE-2022-25860 and CVE-2022-25912) and achieve full remote code execution on the host machine. Version 3.23.0 contains an updated fix for the vulnerability.
