CVE-2025-40183 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix metadata_dst leak __bpf_redirect_neigh_v{4,6} Cilium has a BPF egress gateway feature which forces outgoing K8s Pod traffic to pass through dedicated egress gateways which then SNAT the traffic in order to interact with stable IPs outside the cluster. The traffic is directed to the gateway via vxlan tunnel in collect md mode. A recent BPF change utilized the bpf_redirect_neigh() helper to forward packets after the arrival and decap on vxlan, which turned out over time that the kmalloc-256 slab usage in kernel was ever-increasing. The issue was that vxlan allocates the metadata_dst object and attaches it through a fake dst entry to the skb. The latter was never released though given bpf_redirect_neigh() was merely setting the new dst entry via skb_dst_set() without dropping an existing one first.
CVE-2025-40118 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: pm80xx: Fix array-index-out-of-of-bounds on rmmod Since commit f7b705c238d1 ("scsi: pm80xx: Set phy_attached to zero when device is gone") UBSAN reports: UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in drivers/scsi/pm8001/pm8001_sas.c:786:17 index 28 is out of range for type 'pm8001_phy [16]' on rmmod when using an expander. For a direct attached device, attached_phy contains the local phy id. For a device behind an expander, attached_phy contains the remote phy id, not the local phy id. I.e. while pm8001_ha will have pm8001_ha->chip->n_phy local phys, for a device behind an expander, attached_phy can be much larger than pm8001_ha->chip->n_phy (depending on the amount of phys of the expander). E.g. on my system pm8001_ha has 8 phys with phy ids 0-7. One of the ports has an expander connected. The expander has 31 phys with phy ids 0-30. The pm8001_ha->phy array only contains the phys of the HBA. It does not contain the phys of the expander. Thus, it is wrong to use attached_phy to index the pm8001_ha->phy array for a device behind an expander. Thus, we can only clear phy_attached for devices that are directly attached.

CVE-2022-50786 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: s5p-mfc: Clear workbit to handle error condition During error on CLOSE_INSTANCE command, ctx_work_bits was not getting cleared. During consequent mfc execution NULL pointer dereferencing of this context led to kernel panic. This patch fixes this issue by making sure to clear ctx_work_bits always.
CVE-2025-40028 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: fix double-free in dbitmap A process might fail to allocate a new bitmap when trying to expand its proc->dmap. In that case, dbitmap_grow() fails and frees the old bitmap via dbitmap_free(). However, the driver calls dbitmap_free() again when the same process terminates, leading to a double-free error: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: double-free in binder_proc_dec_tmpref+0x2e0/0x55c Free of addr ffff00000b7c1420 by task kworker/9:1/209 CPU: 9 UID: 0 PID: 209 Comm: kworker/9:1 Not tainted 6.17.0-rc6-dirty #5 PREEMPT Hardware name: linux,dummy-virt (DT) Workqueue: events binder_deferred_func Call trace: kfree+0x164/0x31c binder_proc_dec_tmpref+0x2e0/0x55c binder_deferred_func+0xc24/0x1120 process_one_work+0x520/0xba4 [...] Allocated by task 448: __kmalloc_noprof+0x178/0x3c0 bitmap_zalloc+0x24/0x30 binder_open+0x14c/0xc10 [...] Freed by task 449: kfree+0x184/0x31c binder_inc_ref_for_node+0xb44/0xe44 binder_transaction+0x29b4/0x7fbc binder_thread_write+0x1708/0x442c binder_ioctl+0x1b50/0x2900 [...] ================================================================== Fix this issue by marking proc->map NULL in dbitmap_free().
CVE-2025-40316 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/mediatek: Fix device use-after-free on unbind A recent change fixed device reference leaks when looking up drm platform device driver data during bind() but failed to remove a partial fix which had been added by commit 80805b62ea5b ("drm/mediatek: Fix kobject put for component sub-drivers"). This results in a reference imbalance on component bind() failures and on unbind() which could lead to a user-after-free. Make sure to only drop the references after retrieving the driver data by effectively reverting the previous partial fix. Note that holding a reference to a device does not prevent its driver data from going away so there is no point in keeping the reference.
CVE-2022-50784 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mei: fix potential NULL-ptr deref after clone If cloning the SKB fails, don't try to use it, but rather return as if we should pass it. Coverity CID: 1503456
CVE-2025-71197 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: w1: therm: Fix off-by-one buffer overflow in alarms_store The sysfs buffer passed to alarms_store() is allocated with 'size + 1' bytes and a NUL terminator is appended. However, the 'size' argument does not account for this extra byte. The original code then allocated 'size' bytes and used strcpy() to copy 'buf', which always writes one byte past the allocated buffer since strcpy() copies until the NUL terminator at index 'size'. Fix this by parsing the 'buf' parameter directly using simple_strtoll() without allocating any intermediate memory or string copying. This removes the overflow while simplifying the code.
CVE-2022-50783 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: use proper req destructor for IPv6 Before, only the destructor from TCP request sock in IPv4 was called even if the subflow was IPv6. It is important to use the right destructor to avoid memory leaks with some advanced IPv6 features, e.g. when the request socks contain specific IPv6 options.
CVE-2023-53843 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: openvswitch: reject negative ifindex Recent changes in net-next (commit 759ab1edb56c ("net: store netdevs in an xarray")) refactored the handling of pre-assigned ifindexes and let syzbot surface a latent problem in ovs. ovs does not validate ifindex, making it possible to create netdev ports with negative ifindex values. It's easy to repro with YNL: $ ./cli.py --spec netlink/specs/ovs_datapath.yaml \ --do new \ --json '{"upcall-pid": 1, "name":"my-dp"}' $ ./cli.py --spec netlink/specs/ovs_vport.yaml \ --do new \ --json '{"upcall-pid": "00000001", "name": "some-port0", "dp-ifindex":3,"ifindex":4294901760,"type":2}' $ ip link show -65536: some-port0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000 link/ether 7a:48:21:ad:0b:fb brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff ... Validate the inputs. Now the second command correctly returns: $ ./cli.py --spec netlink/specs/ovs_vport.yaml \ --do new \ --json '{"upcall-pid": "00000001", "name": "some-port0", "dp-ifindex":3,"ifindex":4294901760,"type":2}' lib.ynl.NlError: Netlink error: Numerical result out of range nl_len = 108 (92) nl_flags = 0x300 nl_type = 2 error: -34 extack: {'msg': 'integer out of range', 'unknown': [[type:4 len:36] b'\x0c\x00\x02\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x0c\x00\x03\x00\xff\xff\xff\x7f\x00\x00\x00\x00\x08\x00\x01\x00\x08\x00\x00\x00'], 'bad-attr': '.ifindex'} Accept 0 since it used to be silently ignored.
CVE-2023-53845 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix infinite loop in nilfs_mdt_get_block() If the disk image that nilfs2 mounts is corrupted and a virtual block address obtained by block lookup for a metadata file is invalid, nilfs_bmap_lookup_at_level() may return the same internal return code as -ENOENT, meaning the block does not exist in the metadata file. This duplication of return codes confuses nilfs_mdt_get_block(), causing it to read and create a metadata block indefinitely. In particular, if this happens to the inode metadata file, ifile, semaphore i_rwsem can be left held, causing task hangs in lock_mount. Fix this issue by making nilfs_bmap_lookup_at_level() treat virtual block address translation failures with -ENOENT as metadata corruption instead of returning the error code.
CVE-2023-53856 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of: overlay: Call of_changeset_init() early When of_overlay_fdt_apply() fails, the changeset may be partially applied, and the caller is still expected to call of_overlay_remove() to clean up this partial state. However, of_overlay_apply() calls of_resolve_phandles() before init_overlay_changeset(). Hence if the overlay fails to apply due to an unresolved symbol, the overlay_changeset.cset.entries list is still uninitialized, and cleanup will crash with a NULL-pointer dereference in overlay_removal_is_ok(). Fix this by moving the call to of_changeset_init() from init_overlay_changeset() to of_overlay_fdt_apply(), where all other early initialization is done.
CVE-2022-50781 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: amdgpu/pm: prevent array underflow in vega20_odn_edit_dpm_table() In the PP_OD_EDIT_VDDC_CURVE case the "input_index" variable is capped at 2 but not checked for negative values so it results in an out of bounds read. This value comes from the user via sysfs.
CVE-2022-50769 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: mxcmmc: fix return value check of mmc_add_host() mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, the memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() will be leaked and it will lead a kernel crash because of deleting not added device in the remove path. So fix this by checking the return value and goto error path which will call mmc_free_host().
CVE-2022-50780 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: fix UAF issue in nfqnl_nf_hook_drop() when ops_init() failed When the ops_init() interface is invoked to initialize the net, but ops->init() fails, data is released. However, the ptr pointer in net->gen is invalid. In this case, when nfqnl_nf_hook_drop() is invoked to release the net, invalid address access occurs. CVE-2025-24325 2 Intel, Linux 2 Ethernet 800 Series Software, Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 8.8 High
Improper input validation in the Linux kernel-mode driver for some Intel(R) 800 Series Ethernet before version 1.17.2 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
CVE-2022-50778 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fortify: Fix __compiletime_strlen() under UBSAN_BOUNDS_LOCAL With CONFIG_FORTIFY=y and CONFIG_UBSAN_LOCAL_BOUNDS=y enabled, we observe a runtime panic while running Android's Compatibility Test Suite's (CTS) android.hardware.input.cts.tests. This is stemming from a strlen() call in hidinput_allocate(). __compiletime_strlen() is implemented in terms of __builtin_object_size(), then does an array access to check for NUL-termination. A quirk of __builtin_object_size() is that for strings whose values are runtime dependent, __builtin_object_size(str, 1 or 0) returns the maximum size of possible values when those sizes are determinable at compile time. Example: static const char *v = "FOO BAR"; static const char *y = "FOO BA"; unsigned long x (int z) { // Returns 8, which is: // max(__builtin_object_size(v, 1), __builtin_object_size(y, 1)) return __builtin_object_size(z ? v : y, 1); } So when FORTIFY_SOURCE is enabled, the current implementation of __compiletime_strlen() will try to access beyond the end of y at runtime using the size of v. Mixed with UBSAN_LOCAL_BOUNDS we get a fault. hidinput_allocate() has a local C string whose value is control flow dependent on a switch statement, so __builtin_object_size(str, 1) evaluates to the maximum string length, making all other cases fault on the last character check. hidinput_allocate() could be cleaned up to avoid runtime calls to strlen() since the local variable can only have literal values, so there's no benefit to trying to fortify the strlen call site there. Perform a __builtin_constant_p() check against index 0 earlier in the macro to filter out the control-flow-dependant case. Add a KUnit test for checking the expected behavioral characteristics of FORTIFY_SOURCE internals.
CVE-2025-68750 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: potential integer overflow in usbg_make_tpg() The variable tpgt in usbg_make_tpg() is defined as unsigned long and is assigned to tpgt->tport_tpgt, which is defined as u16. This may cause an integer overflow when tpgt is greater than USHRT_MAX (65535). I haven't tried to trigger it myself, but it is possible to trigger it by calling usbg_make_tpg() with a large value for tpgt. I modified the type of tpgt to match tpgt->tport_tpgt and adjusted the relevant code accordingly. This patch is similar to commit 59c816c1f24d ("vhost/scsi: potential memory corruption").
CVE-2025-68754 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtc: amlogic-a4: fix double free caused by devm The clock obtained via devm_clk_get_enabled() is automatically managed by devres and will be disabled and freed on driver detach. Manually calling clk_disable_unprepare() in error path and remove function causes double free. Remove the redundant clk_disable_unprepare() calls from the probe error path and aml_rtc_remove(), allowing the devm framework to automatically manage the clock lifecycle.
