| CVE-2021-4104 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more | 59 Log4j, Fedora, Advanced Supply Chain Planning and 56 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| JMSAppender in Log4j 1.2 is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted data when the attacker has write access to the Log4j configuration. The attacker can provide TopicBindingName and TopicConnectionFactoryBindingName configurations causing JMSAppender to perform JNDI requests that result in remote code execution in a similar fashion to CVE-2021-44228. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.2 when specifically configured to use JMSAppender, which is not the default. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions. | ||||
| CVE-2021-45105 | 6 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 3 more | 131 Log4j, Debian Linux, Cloud Manager and 128 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
| Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-alpha1 through 2.16.0 (excluding 2.12.3 and 2.3.1) did not protect from uncontrolled recursion from self-referential lookups. This allows an attacker with control over Thread Context Map data to cause a denial of service when a crafted string is interpreted. This issue was fixed in Log4j 2.17.0, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3711 | 6 Debian, Netapp, Openssl and 3 more | 32 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 29 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
| In order to decrypt SM2 encrypted data an application is expected to call the API function EVP_PKEY_decrypt(). Typically an application will call this function twice. The first time, on entry, the "out" parameter can be NULL and, on exit, the "outlen" parameter is populated with the buffer size required to hold the decrypted plaintext. The application can then allocate a sufficiently sized buffer and call EVP_PKEY_decrypt() again, but this time passing a non-NULL value for the "out" parameter. A bug in the implementation of the SM2 decryption code means that the calculation of the buffer size required to hold the plaintext returned by the first call to EVP_PKEY_decrypt() can be smaller than the actual size required by the second call. This can lead to a buffer overflow when EVP_PKEY_decrypt() is called by the application a second time with a buffer that is too small. A malicious attacker who is able present SM2 content for decryption to an application could cause attacker chosen data to overflow the buffer by up to a maximum of 62 bytes altering the contents of other data held after the buffer, possibly changing application behaviour or causing the application to crash. The location of the buffer is application dependent but is typically heap allocated. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1l (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1k). | ||||
| CVE-2021-36374 | 2 Apache, Oracle | 36 Ant, Agile Engineering Data Management, Agile Plm and 33 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, or a derived formats, an Apache Ant build can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that leads to an out of memory error, even for small inputs. This can be used to disrupt builds using Apache Ant. Commonly used derived formats from ZIP archives are for instance JAR files and many office files. Apache Ant prior to 1.9.16 and 1.10.11 were affected. | ||||
| CVE-2021-36373 | 3 Apache, Oracle, Redhat | 33 Ant, Agile Plm, Banking Trade Finance and 30 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| When reading a specially crafted TAR archive an Apache Ant build can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error, even for small inputs. This can be used to disrupt builds using Apache Ant. Apache Ant prior to 1.9.16 and 1.10.11 were affected. | ||||
| CVE-2021-36090 | 4 Apache, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 36 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 33 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' zip package. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22118 | 4 Netapp, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more | 34 Hci, Management Services For Element Software, Commerce Guided Search and 31 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
| In Spring Framework, versions 5.2.x prior to 5.2.15 and versions 5.3.x prior to 5.3.7, a WebFlux application is vulnerable to a privilege escalation: by (re)creating the temporary storage directory, a locally authenticated malicious user can read or modify files that have been uploaded to the WebFlux application, or overwrite arbitrary files with multipart request data. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22112 | 3 Oracle, Pivotal Software, Vmware | 8 Communications Element Manager, Communications Interactive Session Recorder, Communications Unified Inventory Management and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
| Spring Security 5.4.x prior to 5.4.4, 5.3.x prior to 5.3.8.RELEASE, 5.2.x prior to 5.2.9.RELEASE, and older unsupported versions can fail to save the SecurityContext if it is changed more than once in a single request.A malicious user cannot cause the bug to happen (it must be programmed in). However, if the application's intent is to only allow the user to run with elevated privileges in a small portion of the application, the bug can be leveraged to extend those privileges to the rest of the application. | ||||
| CVE-2020-9488 | 5 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 2 more | 53 Log4j, Debian Linux, Communications Application Session Controller and 50 more | 2024-11-21 | 3.7 Low |
| Improper validation of certificate with host mismatch in Apache Log4j SMTP appender. This could allow an SMTPS connection to be intercepted by a man-in-the-middle attack which could leak any log messages sent through that appender. Fixed in Apache Log4j 2.12.3 and 2.13.1 | ||||
| CVE-2020-5421 | 4 Netapp, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more | 39 Oncommand Insight, Snap Creator Framework, Snapcenter and 36 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
| In Spring Framework versions 5.2.0 - 5.2.8, 5.1.0 - 5.1.17, 5.0.0 - 5.0.18, 4.3.0 - 4.3.28, and older unsupported versions, the protections against RFD attacks from CVE-2015-5211 may be bypassed depending on the browser used through the use of a jsessionid path parameter. | ||||
