In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: fix readahead reclaim deadlock Commit e26ee4efbc79 ("fuse: allocate ff->release_args only if release is needed") skips allocating ff->release_args if the server does not implement open. However in doing so, fuse_prepare_release() now skips grabbing the reference on the inode, which makes it possible for an inode to be evicted from the dcache while there are inflight readahead requests. This causes a deadlock if the server triggers reclaim while servicing the readahead request and reclaim attempts to evict the inode of the file being read ahead. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Clear cmds after chip reset Commit aefed3e5548f ("scsi: qla2xxx: target: Fix offline port handling and host reset handling") caused two problems: 1. Commands sent to FW, after chip reset got stuck and never freed as FW is not going to respond to them anymore. 2. BUG_ON(cmd->sg_mapped) in qlt_free_cmd(). Commit 26f9ce53817a ("scsi: qla2xxx: Fix missed DMA unmap for aborted commands") attempted to fix this, but introduced another bug under different circumstances when two different CPUs were racing to call qlt_unmap_sg() at the same time: BUG_ON(!valid_dma_direction(dir)) in dma_unmap_sg_attrs(). So revert "scsi: qla2xxx: Fix missed DMA unmap for aborted commands" and partially revert "scsi: qla2xxx: target: Fix offline port handling and host reset handling" at __qla2x00_abort_all_cmds.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: mte: Do not warn if the page is already tagged in copy_highpage() The arm64 copy_highpage() assumes that the destination page is newly allocated and not MTE-tagged (PG_mte_tagged unset) and warns accordingly. However, following commit 060913999d7a ("mm: migrate: support poisoned recover from migrate folio"), folio_mc_copy() is called before __folio_migrate_mapping(). If the latter fails (-EAGAIN), the copy will be done again to the same destination page. Since copy_highpage() already set the PG_mte_tagged flag, this second copy will warn. Replace the WARN_ON_ONCE(page already tagged) in the arm64 copy_highpage() with a comment.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: tegra210-quad: Fix timeout handling When the CPU that the QSPI interrupt handler runs on (typically CPU 0) is excessively busy, it can lead to rare cases of the IRQ thread not running before the transfer timeout is reached. While handling the timeouts, any pending transfers are cleaned up and the message that they correspond to is marked as failed, which leaves the curr_xfer field pointing at stale memory. To avoid this, clear curr_xfer to NULL upon timeout and check for this condition when the IRQ thread is finally run. While at it, also make sure to clear interrupts on failure so that new interrupts can be run. A better, more involved, fix would move the interrupt clearing into a hard IRQ handler. Ideally we would also want to signal that the IRQ thread no longer needs to be run after the timeout is hit to avoid the extra check for a valid transfer.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: Fix UAF on kernel BO VA nodes If the MMU is down, panthor_vm_unmap_range() might return an error. We expect the page table to be updated still, and if the MMU is blocked, the rest of the GPU should be blocked too, so no risk of accessing physical memory returned to the system (which the current code doesn't cover for anyway). Proceed with the rest of the cleanup instead of bailing out and leaving the va_node inserted in the drm_mm, which leads to UAF when other adjacent nodes are removed from the drm_mm tree.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: Fix UAF race between device unplug and FW event processing The function panthor_fw_unplug() will free the FW memory sections. The problem is that there could still be pending FW events which are yet not handled at this point. process_fw_events_work() can in this case try to access said freed memory. Simply call disable_work_sync() to both drain and prevent future invocation of process_fw_events_work().

Stub it with -EOPNOTSUPP to prevent a NULL dereference. The fix is similar to commit 329d050bbe63 ("gve: Implement settime64 with -EOPNOTSUPP").

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md: fix rcu protection in md_wakeup_thread We attempted to use RCU to protect the pointer 'thread', but directly passed the value when calling md_wakeup_thread(). This means that the RCU pointer has been acquired before rcu_read_lock(), which renders rcu_read_lock() ineffective and could lead to a use-after-free.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd: Fix potential out-of-bounds read in iommu_mmio_show In iommu_mmio_write(), it validates the user-provided offset with the check: `iommu->dbg_mmio_offset > iommu->mmio_phys_end - 4`. This assumes a 4-byte access. However, the corresponding show handler, iommu_mmio_show(), uses readq() to perform an 8-byte (64-bit) read. If a user provides an offset equal to `mmio_phys_end - 4`, the check passes, and will lead to a 4-byte out-of-bounds read. Fix this by adjusting the boundary check to use sizeof(u64), which corresponds to the size of the readq() operation.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: netpoll: initialize work queue before error checks Prevent a kernel warning when netconsole setup fails on devices with IFF_DISABLE_NETPOLL flag. The warning (at kernel/workqueue.c:4242 in __flush_work) occurs because the cleanup path tries to cancel an uninitialized work queue. When __netpoll_setup() encounters a device with IFF_DISABLE_NETPOLL, it fails early and calls skb_pool_flush() for cleanup. This function calls cancel_work_sync(&np->refill_wq), but refill_wq hasn't been initialized yet, triggering the warning. Move INIT_WORK() to the beginning of __netpoll_setup(), ensuring the work queue is properly initialized before any potential failure points. This allows the cleanup path to safely cancel the work queue regardless of where the setup fails.

PureVPN client applications on Linux through September 2025 mishandle firewalling. They flush the system's existing iptables rules and apply default ACCEPT policies when connecting to a VPN server. This removes firewall rules that may have been configured manually or by other software (e.g., UFW, container engines, or system security policies). Upon VPN disconnect, the original firewall state is not restored. As a result, the system may become unintentionally exposed to network traffic that was previously blocked. This affects CLI 2.0.1 and GUI 2.10.0.

PureVPN client applications on Linux through September 2025 allow IPv6 traffic to leak outside the VPN tunnel upon network events such as Wi-Fi reconnect or system resume. In the CLI client, the VPN auto-reconnects and claims to be connected, but IPv6 traffic is no longer routed or blocked. In the GUI client, the IPv6 connection remains functional after disconnection until the user clicks Reconnect. In both cases, the real IPv6 address is exposed to external services, violating user privacy and defeating the advertised IPv6 leak protection. This affects CLI 2.0.1 and GUI 2.10.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Fix double unregister of HCA_PORTS component Clear hca_devcom_comp in device's private data after unregistering it in LAG teardown. Otherwise a slightly lagging second pass through mlx5_unload_one() might try to unregister it again and trip over use-after-free. On s390 almost all PCI level recovery events trigger two passes through mxl5_unload_one() - one through the poll_health() method and one through mlx5_pci_err_detected() as callback from generic PCI error recovery. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix lockdep splat and potential deadlock after failure running delayed items When running delayed items we are holding a delayed node's mutex and then we will attempt to modify a subvolume btree to insert/update/delete the delayed items. However if have an error during the insertions for example, btrfs_insert_delayed_items() may return with a path that has locked extent buffers (a leaf at the very least), and then we attempt to release the delayed node at __btrfs_run_delayed_items(), which requires taking the delayed node's mutex, causing an ABBA type of deadlock.
