| IBM PowerVM Hypervisor FW1120.00, FW1110.00 through FW1110.30, FW1060.00 through FW1060.80, and FW950.00 through FW950.H2 Power Systems Firmware is affected by a vulnerability in partition firmware during network boot. An unauthenticated attacker on the same network as a partition undergoing network boot can send a malformed packet, allowing arbitrary code to be executed in the partition firmware and compromising everything subsequently loaded by that partition. Other partitions and the managed system are not affected. Only partitions actively performing a network boot are affected, resulting in a confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact. |
| IBM PowerVM Hypervisor FW1120.00, FW1110.00 through FW1110.30, FW1060.00 through FW1060.80, and FW950.00 through FW950.H2 is affected by a vulnerability in the PowerVM hypervisor call interface. An attacker with root access to a guest partition can issue a specially crafted hypervisor call causing a virtual processor to become permanently unresponsive, requiring a full platform re-IPL to restore normal operation. In some cases this may also cause the guest to inject a small amount of data into hypervisor or partition memory with no attacker control over the target location. Successful exploitation results in an integrity and availability impact to the managed system. |
| In OpenStack Aodh before 22.0.1, the alarm list API bypasses project scoping when the all_projects query parameter is set to false. The API checks for the presence of the all_projects key rather than its value; a true value enforces the administrator-only policy, but a false value removes the key and skips the branch that normally restricts results to the caller's project. A non-admin user with the reader role can list alarms from all projects, exposing alarm actions containing trust webhook URLs, Heat signal endpoints, project IDs, and user IDs. The parameter can also be combined with a foreign project_id to target a specific project's alarms. A related concern is that OpenStack Watcher does not apply authorization to its webhook trigger endpoint. Any authenticated user who learns an audit's webhook URL, for example from this leaked Aodh alarm metadata, can start an EVENT audit and its associated action plan regardless of their own project or role. The webhook endpoint has lacked policy enforcement since its introduction in the Ussuri release (Watcher 4.0.0). |

| pfSense Plus before 26.07 and pfSense CE through 2.8.1 contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Traffic Graphs top-talkers feature, where PTR records returned by reverse DNS lookups are incorporated without sanitization into AJAX responses and rendered as HTML through a DOM sink in the administrator interface. An attacker who controls a PTR record and generates sufficient traffic to appear as a top talker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in an administrator's browser, gaining access to the authenticated session context and same-origin access to the firewall management interface, enabling account creation and arbitrary OS command execution. |
