CVSS v3.1 |
It was discovered that the get_pid_info() function in data/apport did not properly parse the /proc/pid/status file from the kernel.
A vulnerability has been identified in Solid Edge SE2020 (All versions < SE2020MP13), Solid Edge SE2020 (All versions < SE2020MP14), Solid Edge SE2021 (All Versions < SE2021MP4). Affected applications lack proper validation of user-supplied data when parsing PAR files. This could result in an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated structure. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-12529)
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM RM1224 (V6.3), SCALANCE M-800 (V6.3), SCALANCE S615 (V6.3), SCALANCE SC-600 (All Versions >= V2.1 and < V2.1.3). Multiple failed SSH authentication attempts could trigger a temporary Denial-of-Service under certain conditions. When triggered, the device will reboot automatically.
A vulnerability has been identified in Mendix Forgot Password Appstore module (All Versions < V3.2.1). The Forgot Password Marketplace module does not properly control access. An attacker could take over accounts.
A vulnerability has been identified in Tecnomatix RobotExpert (All versions < V16.1). Affected applications lack proper validation of user-supplied data when parsing CELL files. This could result in an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated structure. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-12608)
A vulnerability has been identified in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Viewer (All versions < V2021.2.1). The starview+.exe application lacks proper validation of user-supplied data when parsing scene files. This could result in an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated structure. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-13700)
A vulnerability has been identified in Automation License Manager 5 (All versions), Automation License Manager 6 (All versions < V6.0 SP9 Update 2). Sending specially crafted packets to port 4410/tcp of an affected system could lead to extensive memory being consumed and as such could cause a denial-of-service preventing legitimate users from using the system.
A privilege escalation vulnerability was discovered in Avaya IP Office Admin Lite and USB Creator that may potentially allow a local user to escalate privileges. This issue affects Admin Lite and USB Creator 11.1 Feature Pack 2 Service Pack 1 and earlier versions.
A privilege escalation vulnerability was discovered in Avaya Aura Appliance Virtualization Platform Utilities (AVPU) that may potentially allow a local user to escalate privileges. Affects 8.0.0.0 through 8.1.3.1 versions of AVPU.
A privilege escalation vulnerability was discovered in Avaya Aura Utility Services that may potentially allow a local user to escalate privileges. Affects all 7.x versions of Avaya Aura Utility Services
A privilege escalation vulnerability was discovered in Avaya Aura Utility Services that may potentially allow a local user to execute specially crafted scripts as a privileged user. Affects all 7.x versions of Avaya Aura Utility Services
An issue was discovered in Couchbase Server 5.x and 6.x through 6.6.1 and 7.0.0 Beta. Incorrect commands to the REST API can result in leaked authentication information being stored in cleartext in the debug.log and info.log files, and is also shown in the UI visible to administrators.
ZKConfigurationStore which is optionally used by CapacityScheduler of Apache Hadoop YARN deserializes data obtained from ZooKeeper without validation. An attacker having access to ZooKeeper can run arbitrary commands as YARN user by exploiting this. Users should upgrade to Apache Hadoop 2.10.2, 3.2.4, 3.3.4 or later (containing YARN-11126) if ZKConfigurationStore is used.
LibreOffice supports digital signatures of ODF documents and macros within documents, presenting visual aids that no alteration of the document occurred since the last signing and that the signature is valid. An Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in LibreOffice allowed an attacker to create a digitally signed ODF document, by manipulating the documentsignatures.xml or macrosignatures.xml stream within the document to contain both "X509Data" and "KeyValue" children of the "KeyInfo" tag, which when opened caused LibreOffice to verify using the "KeyValue" but to report verification with the unrelated "X509Data" value. This issue affects: The Document Foundation LibreOffice 7.2 versions prior to 7.2.5.
LibreOffice supports digital signatures of ODF documents and macros within documents, presenting visual aids that no alteration of the document occurred since the last signing and that the signature is valid. An Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in LibreOffice allowed an attacker to modify a digitally signed ODF document to insert an additional signing time timestamp which LibreOffice would incorrectly present as a valid signature signed at the bogus signing time. This issue affects: The Document Foundation LibreOffice 7-0 versions prior to 7.0.6; 7-1 versions prior to 7.1.2.
LibreOffice supports digital signatures of ODF documents and macros within documents, presenting visual aids that no alteration of the document occurred since the last signing and that the signature is valid. An Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in LibreOffice allowed an attacker to create a digitally signed ODF document, by manipulating the documentsignatures.xml or macrosignatures.xml stream within the document to combine multiple certificate data, which when opened caused LibreOffice to display a validly signed indicator but whose content was unrelated to the signature shown. This issue affects: The Document Foundation LibreOffice 7-0 versions prior to 7.0.6; 7-1 versions prior to 7.1.2.
In the LibreOffice 7-1 series in versions prior to 7.1.2, and in the 7-0 series in versions prior to 7.0.5, the denylist can be circumvented by manipulating the link so it doesn't match the denylist but results in ShellExecute attempting to launch an executable type.
"loolforkit" is a privileged program that is supposed to be run by a special, non-privileged "lool" user. Before doing anything else "loolforkit" checks, if it was invoked by the "lool" user, and refuses to run with privileges, if it's not the case. In the vulnerable version of "loolforkit" this check was wrong, so a normal user could start "loolforkit" and eventually get local root privileges.
An improper input validation vulnerability in LDFW prior to SMR Dec-2021 Release 1 allows attackers to perform arbitrary code execution.
A vulnerability of storing sensitive information insecurely in Property Settings prior to SMR Nov-2021 Release 1 allows attackers to read ESN value without priviledge.
