CVSS v3.1 |
| Exposure of sensitive information due to incompatible policies issue exists in Pgpool-II. If a database user accesses a query cache, table data unauthorized for the user may be retrieved. |
| An issue was discovered in Centreon centreon-bam 24.04, 23.10, 23.04, and 22.10. SQL injection can occur in the user-settings form. Exploitation is only accessible to authenticated users with high-privileged access. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: increase max link count and fix link->enc NULL pointer access
[why]
1.) dc->links[MAX_LINKS] array size smaller than actual requested.
max_connector + max_dpia + 4 virtual = 14.
increase from 12 to 14.
2.) hw_init() access null LINK_ENC for dpia non display_endpoint.

| The LayerSlider plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's ls_search_form shortcode in version 7.11.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |

sysfs: check visibility before changing group attribute ownership
Since commit 0c17270f9b92 ("net: sysfs: Implement is_visible for
phys_(port_id, port_name, switch_id)"), __dev_change_net_namespace() can
hit WARN_ON() when trying to change owner of a file that isn't visible.

Fix this by checking is_visible() before trying to touch the attribute. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netpoll: Fix deadlock in memory allocation under spinlock
Fix a AA deadlock in refill_skbs() where memory allocation while holding
skb_pool->lock can trigger a recursive lock acquisition attempt.
The deadlock scenario occurs when the system is under severe memory
pressure:
1. refill_skbs() acquires skb_pool->lock (spinlock)
2. alloc_skb() is called while holding the lock
3. Memory allocator fails and calls slab_out_of_memory()
4. This triggers printk() for the OOM warning
5. The console output path calls netpoll_send_udp()
6. netpoll_send_udp() attempts to acquire the same skb_pool->lock
7. Deadlock: the lock is already held by the same CPU
Call stack:
refill_skbs()
spin_lock_irqsave(&skb_pool->lock) <- lock acquired
__alloc_skb()
kmem_cache_alloc_node_noprof()
slab_out_of_memory()
printk()
console_flush_all()
netpoll_send_udp()
skb_dequeue()
spin_lock_irqsave(&skb_pool->lock) <- deadlock attempt
This bug was exposed by commit 248f6571fd4c51 ("netpoll: Optimize skb
refilling on critical path") which removed refill_skbs() from the
critical path (where nested printk was being deferred), letting nested
printk being called from inside refill_skbs()
Refactor refill_skbs() to never allocate memory while holding
the spinlock.
Another possible solution to fix this problem is protecting the
refill_skbs() from nested printks, basically calling
printk_deferred_{enter,exit}() in refill_skbs(), then, any nested
pr_warn() would be deferred.
I prefer this approach, given I _think_ it might be a good idea to move
the alloc_skb() from GFP_ATOMIC to GFP_KERNEL in the future, so, having
the alloc_skb() outside of the lock will be necessary step.
There is a possible TOCTOU issue when checking for the pool length, and
queueing the new allocated skb, but, this is not an issue, given that
an extra SKB in the pool is harmless and it will be eventually used. |
| tgt (aka Linux target framework) before 1.0.93 attempts to achieve entropy by calling rand without srand. The PRNG seed is always 1, and thus the sequence of challenges is always identical. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/radeon: Do not kfree() devres managed rdev
Since the allocation of the drivers main structure was changed to
devm_drm_dev_alloc() rdev is managed by devres and we shouldn't be calling
kfree() on it.
This fixes things exploding if the driver probe fails and devres cleans up
the rdev after we already free'd it.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: aspeed - fix double free caused by devm
The clock obtained via devm_clk_get_enabled() is automatically managed
by devres and will be disabled and freed on driver detach. Manually
calling clk_disable_unprepare() in error path and remove function
causes double free.
Remove the manual clock cleanup in both aspeed_acry_probe()'s error
path and aspeed_acry_remove(). |
| A use-after-free vulnerability involving upgradeToRocket requests can cause the application to crash or potentially result in code execution or other undesirable effects. This issue affects Facebook Thrift prior to v2024.09.09.00. |
| Vite a frontend build tooling framework for javascript. Affected versions of vite were discovered to contain a DOM Clobbering vulnerability when building scripts to `cjs`/`iife`/`umd` output format. The DOM Clobbering gadget in the module can lead to cross-site scripting (XSS) in web pages where scriptless attacker-controlled HTML elements (e.g., an img tag with an unsanitized name attribute) are present. DOM Clobbering is a type of code-reuse attack where the attacker first embeds a piece of non-script, seemingly benign HTML markups in the webpage (e.g. through a post or comment) and leverages the gadgets (pieces of js code) living in the existing javascript code to transform it into executable code. We have identified a DOM Clobbering vulnerability in Vite bundled scripts, particularly when the scripts dynamically import other scripts from the assets folder and the developer sets the build output format to `cjs`, `iife`, or `umd`. In such cases, Vite replaces relative paths starting with `__VITE_ASSET__` using the URL retrieved from `document.currentScript`. However, this implementation is vulnerable to a DOM Clobbering attack. The `document.currentScript` lookup can be shadowed by an attacker via the browser's named DOM tree element access mechanism. This manipulation allows an attacker to replace the intended script element with a malicious HTML element. When this happens, the src attribute of the attacker-controlled element is used as the URL for importing scripts, potentially leading to the dynamic loading of scripts from an attacker-controlled server. This vulnerability can result in cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks on websites that include Vite-bundled files (configured with an output format of `cjs`, `iife`, or `umd`) and allow users to inject certain scriptless HTML tags without properly sanitizing the name or id attributes. This issue has been patched in versions 5.4.6, 5.3.6, 5.2.14, 4.5.5, and 3.2.11. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Faraday GM8181 and GM828x up to 20240429. Affected is an unknown function of the component NTP Service. The manipulation of the argument ntp_srv leads to os command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-263304. |
| Hard-coded credentials were included as part of the application binary.
These credentials served as part of the application authentication flow
and communication with the mobile application. An attacker could access
unauthorized information. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI: cadence: Check for the existence of cdns_pcie::ops before using it
cdns_pcie::ops might not be populated by all the Cadence glue drivers. This
is going to be true for the upcoming Sophgo platform which doesn't set the
ops.
Hence, add a check to prevent NULL pointer dereference.
