CVSS v3.1 |
| GNU Emacs 28.1 through 31.1 allows arbitrary code execution upon opening a file, because an untrusted value of read-symbol-shorthands affects the intern and unintern functions. This affects the default configuration; no particular user settings are required to trigger it. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: fix dc_lock leak on GPU reset error paths
On GPU reset, dm_suspend() takes dc_lock and leaves it for dm_resume()
to drop. If amdgpu_dm_commit_zero_streams() or dm_dmub_hw_init() fails,
the function returns with the lock still held. The matching resume path
is then skipped, so every later dc_lock take hangs.
Release the cached DC state and unlock before returning the error. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: qla2xxx: Fix BSG job leak on validate flash image error path
qla28xx_validate_flash_image() returns QLA_SUCCESS (0) unconditionally,
telling the FC BSG transport (fc_bsg_host_dispatch()) that the driver
owns and will complete the request. But bsg_job_done() is guarded by "if
(!rval)", so on the error path (rval == -EINVAL) neither the driver nor
the transport completes the job. The request dangles until it times out,
leaking block layer resources.
Commit c2c68225b145 ("scsi: qla2xxx: Fix bsg_done() causing double
free") added the "if (!rval)" guard to a batch of BSG handlers. That is
correct for handlers that also return the error code (the transport then
completes the job once via fail_host_msg), but this function returns
QLA_SUCCESS unconditionally, so the guard turned a correct single
completion into a leak.
Always call bsg_job_done(): bsg_reply->result is DID_OK and the error is
reported in vendor_rsp[0], and since the function returns 0 the
transport will not complete the job a second time. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: intel/ipu6: fix async notifier cleanup leak on parse error
isys_notifier_init() calls v4l2_async_nf_init() and then adds fwnode
remote subdevs in a loop with v4l2_async_nf_add_fwnode_remote(). If an
endpoint parse or add fails partway through the loop, it jumps to
err_parse and returns without calling v4l2_async_nf_cleanup(), leaking
every v4l2_async_connection already added to the notifier's waiting
list.
The register-failure path just below already cleans up correctly, and
the caller only tears the notifier down (isys_notifier_cleanup()) once
isys_notifier_init() has returned success. Clean up the notifier on the
parse error path too. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: cec: core: Fix kmemleak due to missed rc_free_device() call
The commit dccc0c3ddf8f ("media: rc: fix race between unregister and
urb/irq callbacks") removed the implicit call to rc_free_device() from
rc_unregister_device(). However, the commit missed to remove the NULL
assignment of adap->rc that is now causing rc_free_device() to never be
called on an allocated rc device.
kmemleak reports following after e.g. dw-hdmi unbind:

Remove the assignment of adap->rc to NULL to let cec_delete_adapter()
free the allocated rc device after last user of the cec device exits to
fix the kmemleak. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: hdac_hda: Fix hlink refcount leak on component registration failure
hdac_hda_dev_probe() gets the HDA link with snd_hdac_ext_bus_link_get()
before registering the ASoC component. If component registration fails,
the function returns without dropping the link reference.
Always call snd_hdac_ext_bus_link_put() after the registration attempt so
the reference taken during probe is balanced on both success and failure. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: ice1712: Fix the card leak at probe error with the auto-cleanup
snd_ice1712_probe() performs multiple initialization steps after
snd_card_new(), but directly returns on failures from later steps
without releasing the ALSA card, causing resource leaks when
probing fails.
Use snd_devm_card_new() together with scope-based cleanup
via __free(snd_card_unref), and clear the card pointer after
successful registration to keep it alive. |
| orval before 8.29.0 fails to escape the operationId parameter when emitting it into generated TanStack Query mutator options metadata objects. Attackers can inject arbitrary JavaScript code through a crafted operationId in an OpenAPI specification that executes when generated hooks are called. |
| An issue in yaml-cpp 0.9.0 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the src/scanner.cpp, Scanner::PopIndent(), and Scanner::PushIndentTo() components |
| An out-of-bounds heap write flaw was found in GIMP's PVR image loader. When loading a crafted non-square PVR texture, pvr_decode_twiddle() can write attacker-controlled pixel data beyond the end of a correctly allocated heap buffer because the destination offset is not bounds-checked. A local attacker can exploit this by convincing a user to open a malicious PVR image, potentially causing arbitrary code execution in the file-pvr plug-in process. |
| An integer overflow flaw was found in GIMP's PVR image loader. When a user opens a crafted PVR image, unchecked multiplication of attacker-controlled dimensions in pvr_decode_rect() can result in an undersized heap allocation followed by an out-of-bounds read. This may disclose adjacent heap contents through the decoded image or crash the file-pvr plug-in. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Forma LMS up to 4.1.43. This impacts the function UserselectorAdmController::getDataTask of the file /appCore/ajax.adm_server.php?r=adm/userselector/getData of the component Multi-User-Selector AJAX Endpoint. This manipulation of the argument Name causes sql injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| NetworkManager-l2tp through 1.52.4, fixed in 1.52.6, contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows local users with permission to create VPN connections to execute arbitrary code as root by injecting pppd options through a crafted VPN username. Attackers can embed a double-quote character or whitespace in the username to break out of the pppd options file quoting context and include the pppd plugin directive, causing the privileged pppd process to load an attacker-controlled shared object. |
| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 4.2.7 and 4.3.1, rabbit_pid_codec:decompose_from_binary/1 parses a caller-supplied ETF-encoded binary and calls binary_to_atom(Node, utf8) on the node-name field. It is reached from rabbit_volatile_queue:pid_from_name/2, which is invoked for any queue name / routing key beginning amq.rabbitmq.reply-to.. The CandidateNodes membership check happens after the atom is created, and the surrounding try/catch cannot reclaim atoms (they are never GC'd). binary_to_existing_atom is not used. Any authenticated AMQP client can crash the entire Erlang VM (all vhosts, all connections) with ~1M cheap requests. Preconditions include Authenticated AMQP 0-9-1 connection to any vhost No per-connection rate limit low enough to make ~1M operations infeasible. This issue is fixed in versions 4.2.7 and 4.3.1. |
| Unauthenticated Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in Mang Board WP <= 2.4.1 versions. |
| Unauthenticated Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in PublishPress Capabilities <= 2.50.1 versions. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in kvcache-ai mooncake up to 0.3.12/0.3.13.post1/0.3.14-rc1. This issue affects the function ScopedSegmentAccess::MountSegment of the file segment.cpp of the component MountSegment Request Processing. Performing a manipulation results in improper access controls. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
