CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: emu10k1: Fix out of bounds access in snd_emu10k1_pcm_channel_alloc()
The voice allocator sometimes begins allocating from near the end of the
array and then wraps around, however snd_emu10k1_pcm_channel_alloc()
accesses the newly allocated voices as if it never wrapped around.
This results in out of bounds access if the first voice has a high enough
index so that first_voice + requested_voice_count > NUM_G (64).
The more voices are requested, the more likely it is for this to occur.
This was initially discovered using PipeWire, however it can be reproduced
by calling aplay multiple times with 16 channels:
aplay -r 48000 -D plughw:CARD=Live,DEV=3 -c 16 /dev/zero
UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in sound/pci/emu10k1/emupcm.c:127:40
index 65 is out of range for type 'snd_emu10k1_voice [64]'

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: usb-audio: Fix an out-of-bounds bug in __snd_usb_parse_audio_interface()
There may be a bad USB audio device with a USB ID of (0x04fa, 0x4201) and
the number of it's interfaces less than 4, an out-of-bounds read bug occurs
when parsing the interface descriptor for this device.
Fix this by checking the number of interfaces. |
| A weakness has been identified in H3C Magic B0 up to 100R002. This impacts the function EditWlanMacList of the file /goform/aspForm. This manipulation of the argument param causes buffer overflow. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
md/raid1: Fix stack memory use after return in raid1_reshape
In the raid1_reshape function, newpool is
allocated on the stack and assigned to conf->r1bio_pool.
This results in conf->r1bio_pool.wait.head pointing
to a stack address.
Accessing this address later can lead to a kernel panic.
Example access path:
raid1_reshape()
{
// newpool is on the stack
mempool_t newpool, oldpool;
// initialize newpool.wait.head to stack address
mempool_init(&newpool, ...);
conf->r1bio_pool = newpool;
}
raid1_read_request() or raid1_write_request()
{
alloc_r1bio()
{
mempool_alloc()
{
// if pool->alloc fails
remove_element()
{
--pool->curr_nr;
}
}
}
}
mempool_free()
{
if (pool->curr_nr < pool->min_nr) {
// pool->wait.head is a stack address
// wake_up() will try to access this invalid address
// which leads to a kernel panic
return;
wake_up(&pool->wait);
}
}
Fix:
reinit conf->r1bio_pool.wait after assigning newpool. |
| Exim before 4.99.1, with certain non-default rate-limit configurations, allows a remote heap-based buffer overflow because database records are cast directly to internal structures without validation. |
| Sandboxie is a sandbox-based isolation software for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows NT-based operating systems. In versions 1.16.6 and below, the SYSTEM-level service SbieSvc.exe exposes SbieIniServer::RC4Crypt to sandboxed processes. The handler adds a fixed header size to a caller-controlled value_len without overflow checking. A large value_len (e.g., 0xFFFFFFF0) wraps the allocation size, causing a heap overflow when attacker data is copied into the undersized buffer. This allows sandboxed processes to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM, fully compromising the host. This issue is fixed in version 1.16.7. |
| Out-of-bounds access in ASR180x 、ASR190x in lte-telephony, This vulnerability is associated with program files apps/lzma/src/LzmaEnc.c.
This issue affects Falcon_Linux、Kestrel、Lapwing_Linux: before v1536. |

| Jenkins Eggplant Runner Plugin 0.0.1.301.v963cffe8ddb_8 and earlier sets the Java system property `jdk.http.auth.tunneling.disabledSchemes` to an empty value, disabling a protection mechanism of the Java runtime. |
| mechanize, a library for automatically interacting with HTTP web servers, contains a regular expression that is vulnerable to regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) prior to version 0.4.6. If a web server responds in a malicious way, then mechanize could crash. Version 0.4.6 has a patch for the issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
arm64: errata: Add Cortex-A520 speculative unprivileged load workaround
Implement the workaround for ARM Cortex-A520 erratum 2966298. On an
affected Cortex-A520 core, a speculatively executed unprivileged load
might leak data from a privileged load via a cache side channel. The
issue only exists for loads within a translation regime with the same
translation (e.g. same ASID and VMID). Therefore, the issue only affects
the return to EL0.
The workaround is to execute a TLBI before returning to EL0 after all
loads of privileged data. A non-shareable TLBI to any address is
sufficient.
The workaround isn't necessary if page table isolation (KPTI) is
enabled, but for simplicity it will be. Page table isolation should
normally be disabled for Cortex-A520 as it supports the CSV3 feature
and the E0PD feature (used when KASLR is enabled). |
| Malwarebytes 1.0.14 for Linux doesn't properly compute signatures in some scenarios. This allows a bypass of detection. |
| Within HostnameError.Error(), when constructing an error string, there is no limit to the number of hosts that will be printed out. Furthermore, the error string is constructed by repeated string concatenation, leading to quadratic runtime. Therefore, a certificate provided by a malicious actor can result in excessive resource consumption. |
| An attacker can use an undocumented UART port on the PCB as a side-channel to get root access e.g. with the credentials obtained from CVE-2025-41692. |
| An unauthenticated remote attacker can abuse unsafe sscanf calls within the check_cookie() function to write arbitrary data into fixed-size stack buffers which leads to full device compromise. |

This issue seems to be related to the behavior of some gcc compilers and
was also fixed on the s390 architecture before:
commit d93a855c31b7 ("s390/ptrace: Avoid KASAN false positives in regs_get_kernel_stack_nth()")
As described in that commit, regs_get_kernel_stack_nth() has confirmed that
`addr` is on the stack, so reading the value at `*addr` should be allowed.
Use READ_ONCE_NOCHECK() helper to silence the KASAN check for this case.
[will: Use '*addr' as the argument to READ_ONCE_NOCHECK()] |
