Huawei Honor 5S smart phones with software the versions before TAG-TL00C01B173 have an authentication bypass vulnerability due to the improper design of some components. An attacker can get a user's smart phone and install malicious apps in the mobile phone, allowing the attacker to reset the password and fingerprint of the phone without authentication.
A specific device configuration can result in a commit failure condition. When this occurs, a user is logged in without being prompted for a password while trying to login through console, ssh, ftp, telnet or su, etc., This issue relies upon a device configuration precondition to occur. Typically, device configurations are the result of a trusted administrative change to the system's running configuration. The following error messages may be seen when this failure occurs: mgd: error: commit failed: (statements constraint check failed) Warning: Commit failed, activating partial configuration. Warning: Edit the router configuration to fix these errors. If the administrative changes are not made that result in such a failure, then this issue is not seen. No other Juniper Networks products or platforms are affected by this issue. Affected releases are Juniper Networks Junos OS 12.3 prior to 12.3R10, 12.3R11; 12.3X48 prior to 12.3X48-D20; 13.2 prior to 13.2R8; 13.3 prior to 13.3R7; 14.1 prior to 14.1R4-S12, 14.1R5, 14.1R6; 14.1X53 prior to 14.1X53-D30; 14.2 prior to 14.2R4; 15.1 prior to 15.1F2, 15.1F3, 15.1R2.
A vulnerability in Cisco WebEx Meetings Server could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct arbitrary password changes against any non-administrative user. More Information: CSCuz03345. Known Affected Releases: 2.6. Known Fixed Releases: 2.7.1.12.
Huawei Video Content Management (VCM) before V100R001C10SPC001 does not properly "authenticate online user identities and privileges," which allows remote authenticated users to gain privileges and perform a case operation as another user via a crafted message, aka "Horizontal Privilege Escalation Vulnerability."
Dolibarr ERP/CRM 4.0.4 allows password changes without supplying the current password, which makes it easier for physically proximate attackers to obtain access via an unattended workstation.
An issue was discovered in Personify360 e-Business 7.5.2 through 7.6.1. When going to the /TabId/275 URI, while creating a new role, a list of database tables and their columns is available.
Vulnerability in the Java SE, Java SE Embedded component of Oracle Java SE (subcomponent: Networking). Supported versions that are affected are Java SE: 6u141, 7u131 and 8u121; Java SE Embedded: 8u121. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Java SE, Java SE Embedded. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Java SE, Java SE Embedded accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Java SE, Java SE Embedded accessible data. Note: This vulnerability applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. This vulnerability does not apply to Java deployments, typically in servers, that load and run only trusted code (e.g., code installed by an administrator). CVSS 3.0 Base Score 4.2 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N).
In EMC RSA Authentication Manager 8.2 SP1 Patch 1 and earlier, a malicious user logged into the Self-Service Console of RSA Authentication Manager as a target user can use a brute force attack to attempt to identify that user's PIN. The malicious user could potentially reset the compromised PIN to affect victim's ability to obtain access to protected resources.
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in iniNet Solutions iniNet Webserver, all versions prior to V2.02.0100. The webserver does not properly authenticate users, which may allow a malicious attacker to access sensitive information such as HMI pages or modify PLC variables.
Improper Authentication vulnerability in the "LDAP / SSO Authentication" (ig_ldap_sso_auth) extension 2.0.0 for TYPO3.
Nextcloud Server before 9.0.54 and 10.0.1 & ownCloud Server before 9.1.2, 9.0.6, and 8.2.9 suffer from SMB User Authentication Bypass. Nextcloud/ownCloud include an optional and not by default enabled SMB authentication component that allows authenticating users against an SMB server. This backend is implemented in a way that tries to connect to a SMB server and if that succeeded consider the user logged-in. The backend did not properly take into account SMB servers that have any kind of anonymous auth configured. This is the default on SMB servers nowadays and allows an unauthenticated attacker to gain access to an account without valid credentials. Note: The SMB backend is disabled by default and requires manual configuration in the Nextcloud/ownCloud config file. If you have not configured the SMB backend then you're not affected by this vulnerability.
Some Huawei smart phones with software Berlin-L21C10B130,Berlin-L21C185B133,Berlin-L21HNC10B131,Berlin-L21HNC185B140,Berlin-L21HNC432B151,Berlin-L22C636B160,Berlin-L22HNC636B130,Berlin-L22HNC675B150CUSTC675D001,Berlin-L23C605B131,Berlin-L24HNC567B110,FRD-L02C432B120,FRD-L02C635B130,FRD-L02C675B170CUSTC675D001,FRD-L04C567B162,FRD-L04C605B131,FRD-L09C10B130,FRD-L09C185B130,FRD-L09C432B131,FRD-L09C636B130,FRD-L14C567B162,FRD-L19C10B130,FRD-L19C432B131,FRD-L19C636B130 have a factory Reset Protection (FRP) bypass security vulnerability. When re-configuring the mobile phone using the factory reset protection (FRP) function, an attacker can login the configuration flow by Swype Keyboard and can perform some operations to update the Google account. As a result, the FRP function is bypassed.
Symfony before 2.8.6 and 3.x before 3.0.6 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication by logging in with an empty password and valid username, which triggers an unauthenticated bind.
The Mxit protocol uses weak encryption when encrypting user passwords, which might allow attackers to (1) decrypt hashed passwords by leveraging knowledge of client registration codes or (2) gain login access by eavesdropping on login messages and re-using the hashed passwords.
Televes COAXDATA GATEWAY 1Gbps devices doc-wifi-hgw_v1.02.0014 4.20 do not check password.shtml authorization, leading to Arbitrary password change.
An issue was discovered in dnaTools dnaLIMS 4-2015s13. dnaLIMS is vulnerable to unauthenticated command execution through an improperly protected administrative web shell (cgi-bin/dna/sysAdmin.cgi POST requests).
Authentication bypass by spoofing vulnerability in Intel Security VirusScan Enterprise Linux (VSEL) 2.0.3 (and earlier) allows remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service via a crafted authentication cookie.
The ActiveDirectoryLdapAuthenticator in Spring Security 3.2.0 to 3.2.1 and 3.1.0 to 3.1.5 does not check the password length. If the directory allows anonymous binds then it may incorrectly authenticate a user who supplies an empty password.
In Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.0 to 2.4.23, mod_session_crypto was encrypting its data/cookie using the configured ciphers with possibly either CBC or ECB modes of operation (AES256-CBC by default), hence no selectable or builtin authenticated encryption. This made it vulnerable to padding oracle attacks, particularly with CBC.
| A vulnerability in the dynamic access control list (ACL) feature of Cisco IOS XE Software running on Cisco Catalyst 4000 Series Switches could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause dynamic ACL assignment to fail and the port to fail open. This could allow the attacker to pass traffic to the default VLAN of the affected port. The vulnerability is due to an uncaught error condition that may occur during the reassignment of the auth-default-ACL dynamic ACL to a switch port after 802.1x authentication fails. A successful exploit of this issue could allow a physically adjacent attacker to bypass 802.1x authentication and cause the affected port to fail open, allowing the attacker to pass traffic to the default VLAN of the affected switch port.
