| CVE-2026-46124 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: isofs: validate block number from NFS file handle in isofs_export_iget isofs_fh_to_dentry() and isofs_fh_to_parent() pass an attacker- controlled block number (ifid->block or ifid->parent_block) from the NFS file handle to isofs_export_iget(), which only rejects block == 0 before calling isofs_iget() and ultimately sb_bread(). A crafted file handle with fh_len sufficient to pass the check added by commit 0405d4b63d08 ("isofs: Prevent the use of too small fid") can still drive the server to read any in-range block on the backing device as if it were an iso_directory_record. That earlier fix was assigned CVE-2025-37780. sb_bread() on an out-of-range block returns NULL cleanly via the EIO path, so there is no memory-safety violation. For in-range reads of adjacent-partition data on the same block device, the unrelated bytes end up in iso_inode_info fields that reach the NFS client as dentry metadata. The deployment surface (isofs exported over NFS from loop-mounted images) is narrow and requires an authenticated NFS peer, but the malformed-file-handle class is reportable as hardening next to the existing CVE-2025-37780 fix. Reject block >= ISOFS_SB(sb)->s_nzones in isofs_export_iget() so the check covers both isofs_fh_to_dentry() and isofs_fh_to_parent() call sites with a single line. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46123 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: virtio_bt: clamp rx length before skb_put virtbt_rx_work() calls skb_put(skb, len) where len comes directly from virtqueue_get_buf() with no validation against the buffer we posted to the device. The RX skb is allocated in virtbt_add_inbuf() and exposed to virtio as exactly 1000 bytes via sg_init_one(). Checking len against skb_tailroom(skb) is not sufficient because alloc_skb() can leave more tailroom than the 1000 bytes actually handed to the device. A malicious or buggy backend can therefore report used.len between 1001 and skb_tailroom(skb), causing skb_put() to include uninitialized kernel heap bytes that were never written by the device. The same path also accepts len == 0, in which case skb_put(skb, 0) leaves the skb empty but virtbt_rx_handle() still reads the pkt_type byte from skb->data, consuming uninitialized memory. Define VIRTBT_RX_BUF_SIZE once and reuse it in alloc_skb() and sg_init_one(), and gate virtbt_rx_work() on that same constant so the bound checked matches the buffer actually exposed to the device. Reject used.len == 0 in the same gate so an empty completion can no longer reach virtbt_rx_handle(). Use bt_dev_err_ratelimited() because the length value comes from an untrusted backend that can otherwise flood the kernel log. Same class of bug as commit c04db81cd028 ("net/9p: Fix buffer overflow in USB transport layer"), which hardened the USB 9p transport against unchecked device-reported length. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46122 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: b43: enforce bounds check on firmware key index in b43_rx() The firmware-controlled key index in b43_rx() can exceed the dev->key[] array size (58 entries). The existing B43_WARN_ON is non-enforcing in production builds, allowing an out-of-bounds read. Make the B43_WARN_ON check enforcing by dropping the frame when the firmware returns an invalid key index. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46120 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ip6_gre: Use cached t->net in ip6erspan_changelink(). After commit 5e72ce3e3980 ("net: ipv6: Use link netns in newlink() of rtnl_link_ops"), ip6erspan_newlink() correctly resolves the per-netns ip6gre hash via link_net. ip6erspan_changelink() was not converted in that series and still uses dev_net(dev), which diverges from the device's creation netns after IFLA_NET_NS_FD migration. This re-inserts the tunnel into the wrong per-netns hash. The original netns keeps a stale entry. When that netns is later destroyed, ip6gre_exit_rtnl_net() walks the stale entry, producing a slab-use-after-free reported by KASAN, followed by a kernel BUG at net/core/dev.c (LIST_POISON1) in unregister_netdevice_many_notify(). Reachable from an unprivileged user namespace (unshare --user --map-root-user --net). ip6gre_changelink() earlier in the same file already uses the cached t->net; only ip6erspan_changelink() has the wrong shape. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46113 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Fix shadow paging use-after-free due to unexpected GFN The shadow MMU computes GFNs for direct shadow pages using sp->gfn plus the SPTE index. This assumption breaks for shadow paging if the guest page tables are modified between VM entries (similar to commit aad885e77496, "KVM: x86/mmu: Drop/zap existing present SPTE even when creating an MMIO SPTE", 2026-03-27). The flow is as follows: - a PDE is installed for a 2MB mapping, and a page in that area is accessed. KVM creates a kvm_mmu_page consisting of 512 4KB pages; the kvm_mmu_page is marked by FNAME(fetch) as direct-mapped because the guest's mapping is a huge page (and thus contiguous). - the PDE mapping is changed from outside the guest. - the guest accesses another page in the same 2MB area. KVM installs a new leaf SPTE and rmap entry; the SPTE uses the "correct" GFN (i.e. based on the new mapping, as changed in the previous step) but that GFN is outside of the [sp->gfn, sp->gfn + 511] range; therefore the rmap entry cannot be found and removed when the kvm_mmu_page is zapped. - the memslot that covers the first 2MB mapping is deleted, and the kvm_mmu_page for the now-invalid GPA is zapped. However, rmap_remove() only looks at the [sp->gfn, sp->gfn + 511] range established in step 1, and fails to find the rmap entry that was recorded by step 3. - any operation that causes an rmap walk for the same page accessed by step 3 then walks a stale rmap and dereferences a freed kvm_mmu_page. This includes dirty logging or MMU notifier invalidations (e.g., from MADV_DONTNEED). The underlying issue is that KVM's walking of shadow PTEs assumes that if a SPTE is present when KVM wants to install a non-leaf SPTE, then the existing kvm_mmu_page must be for the correct gfn. Because the only way for the gfn to be wrong is if KVM messed up and failed to zap a SPTE... which shouldn't happen, but *actually* only happens in response to a guest write. That bug dates back literally forever, as even the first version of KVM assumes that the GFN matches and walks into the "wrong" shadow page. However, that was only an imprecision until 2032a93d66fa ("KVM: MMU: Don't allocate gfns page for direct mmu pages") came along. Fix it by checking for a target gfn mismatch and zapping the existing SPTE. That way the old SP and rmap entries are gone, KVM installs the rmap in the right location, and everyone is happy. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46112 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/hns: Fix unlocked call to hns_roce_qp_remove() Sashiko points out that hns_roce_qp_remove() requires the caller to hold locks. The error flow in hns_roce_create_qp_common() doesn't hold those locks for the error unwind so it risks corrupting memory. Grab the same locks the other two callers use. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46102 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: strparser: fix skb_head leak in strp_abort_strp() When the stream parser is aborted, for example after a message assembly timeout, it can still hold a reference to a partially assembled message in strp->skb_head. That skb is not released in strp_abort_strp(), which leaks the partially assembled message and can be triggered repeatedly to exhaust memory. Fix this by freeing strp->skb_head and resetting the parser state in the abort path. Leave strp_stop() unchanged so final cleanup still happens in strp_done() after the work and timer have been synchronized. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: atmel-sha204a - Fix potential UAF and memory leak in remove path Unregister the hwrng to prevent new ->read() calls and flush the Atmel I2C workqueue before teardown to prevent a potential UAF if a queued callback runs while the device is being removed. Drop the early return to ensure sysfs entries are removed and ->hwrng.priv is freed, preventing a memory leak. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46070 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid5: validate payload size before accessing journal metadata r5c_recovery_analyze_meta_block() and r5l_recovery_verify_data_checksum_for_mb() iterate over payloads in a journal metadata block using on-disk payload size fields without validating them against the remaining space in the metadata block. A corrupted journal contains payload sizes extending beyond the PAGE_SIZE boundary can cause out-of-bounds reads when accessing payload fields or computing offsets. Add bounds validation for each payload type to ensure the full payload fits within meta_size before processing. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46064 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ibmasm: fix heap over-read in ibmasm_send_i2o_message() The ibmasm_send_i2o_message() function uses get_dot_command_size() to compute the byte count for memcpy_toio(), but this value is derived from user-controlled fields in the dot_command_header (command_size: u8, data_size: u16) and is never validated against the actual allocation size. A root user can write a small buffer with inflated header fields, causing memcpy_toio() to read up to ~65 KB past the end of the allocation into adjacent kernel heap, which is then forwarded to the service processor over MMIO. Silently clamping the copy size is not sufficient: if the header fields claim a larger size than the buffer, the SP receives a dot command whose own header is inconsistent with the I2O message length, which can cause the SP to desynchronize. Reject such commands outright by returning failure. Validate command_size before calling get_mfa_inbound() to avoid leaking an I2O message frame: reading INBOUND_QUEUE_PORT dequeues a hardware frame from the controller's free pool, and returning without a corresponding set_mfa_inbound() call would permanently exhaust it. Additionally, clamp command_size to I2O_COMMAND_SIZE before the memcpy_toio() so the MMIO write stays within the I2O message frame, consistent with the clamping already performed by outgoing_message_size() for the header field. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46062 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: fix integer overflow in run_unpack() volume boundary check The volume boundary check `lcn + len > sbi->used.bitmap.nbits` uses raw addition which can wrap around for large lcn and len values, bypassing the validation. Use check_add_overflow() as is already done for the adjacent prev_lcn + dlcn and vcn64 + len checks added by commit 3ac37e100385 ("ntfs3: Fix integer overflow in run_unpack()"). Found by fuzzing with a source-patched harness (LibAFL + QEMU). | ||||
| CVE-2026-45843 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 8.2 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: slip: bound decode() reads against the compressed packet length slhc_uncompress() parses a VJ-compressed TCP header by advancing a pointer through the packet via decode() and pull16(). Neither helper bounds-checks against isize, and decode() masks its return with & 0xffff so it can never return the -1 that callers test for -- those error paths are dead code. A short compressed frame whose change byte requests optional fields lets decode() read past the end of the packet. The over-read bytes are folded into the cached cstate and reflected into subsequent reconstructed packets. Make decode() and pull16() take the packet end pointer and return -1 when exhausted. Add a bounds check before the TCP-checksum read. The existing == -1 tests now do what they were always meant to. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43497 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.3 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: udlfb: add vm_ops to dlfb_ops_mmap to prevent use-after-free dlfb_ops_mmap() uses remap_pfn_range() to map vmalloc framebuffer pages to userspace but sets no vm_ops on the VMA. This means the kernel cannot track active mmaps. When dlfb_realloc_framebuffer() replaces the backing buffer via FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO, existing mmap PTEs are not invalidated. On USB disconnect, dlfb_ops_destroy() calls vfree() on the old pages while userspace PTEs still reference them, resulting in a use-after-free: the process retains read/write access to freed kernel pages. Add vm_operations_struct with open/close callbacks that maintain an atomic mmap_count on struct dlfb_data. In dlfb_realloc_framebuffer(), check mmap_count and return -EBUSY if the buffer is currently mapped, preventing buffer replacement while userspace holds stale PTEs. Tested with PoC using dummy_hcd + raw_gadget USB device emulation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43328 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cpufreq: governor: fix double free in cpufreq_dbs_governor_init() error path When kobject_init_and_add() fails, cpufreq_dbs_governor_init() calls kobject_put(&dbs_data->attr_set.kobj). The kobject release callback cpufreq_dbs_data_release() calls gov->exit(dbs_data) and kfree(dbs_data), but the current error path then calls gov->exit(dbs_data) and kfree(dbs_data) again, causing a double free. Keep the direct kfree(dbs_data) for the gov->init() failure path, but after kobject_init_and_add() has been called, let kobject_put() handle the cleanup through cpufreq_dbs_data_release(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-43281 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: Prevent out-of-bounds access in fw_mbox_index_xlate() Although it is guided that `#mbox-cells` must be at least 1, there are many instances of `#mbox-cells = <0>;` in the device tree. If that is the case and the corresponding mailbox controller does not provide `fw_xlate` and of_xlate` function pointers, `fw_mbox_index_xlate()` will be used by default and out-of-bounds accesses could occur due to lack of bounds check in that function. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43113 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wl1251: validate packet IDs before indexing tx_frames wl1251_tx_packet_cb() uses the firmware completion ID directly to index the fixed 16-entry wl->tx_frames[] array. The ID is a raw u8 from the completion block, and the callback does not currently verify that it fits the array before dereferencing it. Reject completion IDs that fall outside wl->tx_frames[] and keep the existing NULL check in the same guard. This keeps the fix local to the trust boundary and avoids touching the rest of the completion flow. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43111 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: roccat: fix use-after-free in roccat_report_event roccat_report_event() iterates over the device->readers list without holding the readers_lock. This allows a concurrent roccat_release() to remove and free a reader while it's still being accessed, leading to a use-after-free. Protect the readers list traversal with the readers_lock mutex. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43110 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: validate bsscfg indices in IF events brcmf_fweh_handle_if_event() validates the firmware-provided interface index before it touches drvr->iflist[], but it still uses the raw bsscfgidx field as an array index without a matching range check. Reject IF events whose bsscfg index does not fit in drvr->iflist[] before indexing the interface array. [add missing wifi prefix] | ||||
| CVE-2026-43099 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: icmp: fix null-ptr-deref in icmp_build_probe() ipv6_stub->ipv6_dev_find() may return ERR_PTR(-EAFNOSUPPORT) when the IPv6 stack is not active (CONFIG_IPV6=m and not loaded), and passing this error pointer to dev_hold() will cause a kernel crash with null-ptr-deref. Instead, silently discard the request. RFC 8335 does not appear to define a specific response for the case where an IPv6 interface identifier is syntactically valid but the implementation cannot perform the lookup at runtime, and silently dropping the request may safer than misreporting "No Such Interface". | ||||
| CVE-2026-43093 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: tighten UMEM headroom validation to account for tailroom and min frame The current headroom validation in xdp_umem_reg() could leave us with insufficient space dedicated to even receive minimum-sized ethernet frame. Furthermore if multi-buffer would come to play then skb_shared_info stored at the end of XSK frame would be corrupted. HW typically works with 128-aligned sizes so let us provide this value as bare minimum. Multi-buffer setting is known later in the configuration process so besides accounting for 128 bytes, let us also take care of tailroom space upfront. | ||||
