| CVE-2026-53593 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-07-21 | 8.8 High |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.224, the denylist that neutralizes dangerous file uploads (`Helper::$restricted_extensions`) is incomplete: it does not cover the `.pht` extension. The authenticated upload endpoint `POST /uploads/upload` (`SecureController@upload`) stores files with their original extension into the web-accessible directory `storage/app/public/uploads/` (served at `/storage/uploads/`). On the standard Apache + `libapache2-mod-php` deployment, the default handler `<FilesMatch ".+\.ph(ar|p[3457]?|t|tml)$">` executes `.pht`, so **any authenticated agent can upload a `.pht` web shell and run arbitrary commands as the web-server user** (`www-data`). This is a direct bypass of the fix for CVE-2025-48471, which added `phtml`/`phar` but not `pht` (nor `phtm`, `phps`). Version 1.8.224 contains an updated fix. | ||||

The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks.
| CVE-2026-42566 | 1 Meshtastic | 1 Firmware | 2026-07-21 | 7.5 High |
| Meshtastic is an open source mesh networking solution. Prior to version 2.7.23.b246bcd, a single node advertising a User.long_name that contains a malformed character encoding can render other radios unusable over BLE when managed through the iOS app. The malformed name does not need to be maliciously crafted — it can arise from ordinary buffer truncation and has been observed occurring naturally in the wild. At least one code path could place a null terminator in the middle of a multibyte sequence, leaving a malformed User.long_name in the node database. The problem surfaced downstream: the iOS app enforced encoding validation and therefore cannot parse a node database once it contains a poisoned entry. This caused BLE sync to enter a fail/retry loop, resulting in loss of control over the affected device. For a typical user managing their radio with the iOS app, the device becomes effectively unusable until the poisoned node ages out of the on-device database, or unless they have an alternate management path (e.g., the Python CLI, which can be used to identify and remove the offending entries manually). Because the malformed name propagates through the mesh, the temporary presence of a single affected node can degrade BLE management for iOS users across a wide geographical area for an extended period. Less technical users have no straightforward recovery path. Starting in version 2.7.23.b246bcd, the firmware has added input sanitization and regression tests demonstrating recovery for already-poisoned devices. The apps have also taken steps to ensure more graceful handling of malformed encoding sequences as well. | ||||
| CVE-2026-49853 | 1 Tornadoweb | 1 Tornado | 2026-07-21 | 7.7 High |
| Tornado is a Python web framework and asynchronous networking library. Prior to 6.5.6, SimpleAsyncHTTPClient shallow-copied redirected requests and removed only the Host header, leaving Authorization, auth_username, auth_password, and auth_mode in place when a redirect changed scheme, host, or port. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.6. | ||||

The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
| CVE-2026-63899 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-21 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: serial: mxuport: fix memory corruption with small endpoint Make sure that the bulk-out endpoint max packet size is at least eight bytes to avoid user-controlled slab corruption should a malicious device report a smaller size. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63901 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-21 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: serial: digi_acceleport: fix memory corruption with small endpoints Add the missing bulk-out buffer size sanity checks to avoid out-of-bounds memory accesses or slab corruption should a malicious device report smaller buffers than expected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-61835 | 1 Directus | 1 Directus | 2026-07-21 | 7.7 High |
| Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. Prior to 12.0.0, the SSRF protection on Directus's file-import-from-URL feature can be bypassed using the address 0.0.0.0 because api/src/request/is-denied-ip.ts treats 0.0.0.0 as a keyword for local interfaces but never blocks the literal address itself. On Linux and macOS, connecting to 0.0.0.0 reaches localhost, so an authenticated user with file-upload rights can make the server fetch internal services through the /files/import endpoint and retrieve the response as a downloadable file. This issue is fixed in version 12.0.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63896 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-21 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: composite: fix integer underflow in WebUSB GET_URL handling The WebUSB GET_URL handler in composite_setup() narrows landing_page_length to fit the host-supplied wLength using landing_page_length = w_length - WEBUSB_URL_DESCRIPTOR_HEADER_LENGTH + landing_page_offset; If wLength is smaller than WEBUSB_URL_DESCRIPTOR_HEADER_LENGTH the unsigned subtraction wraps, and the subsequent memcpy(url_descriptor->URL, cdev->landing_page + landing_page_offset, landing_page_length - landing_page_offset); ends up copying close to UINT_MAX bytes from cdev->landing_page into cdev->req->buf. KASAN reports a slab-out-of-bounds in composite_setup on the kmalloc-2k gadget_info allocation, and FORTIFY_SOURCE traps the memcpy as a 4294967293-byte field-spanning write into url_descriptor->URL (size 252). A USB host can reach this from a single SETUP packet against any gadget that has webusb/use=1 and a landingPage configured. Handle the small-wLength case before the math: when the host requested fewer bytes than the URL descriptor header, only the header is meaningful and no URL bytes need to be copied. Setting landing_page_length to landing_page_offset makes the existing memcpy a no-op and leaves the descriptor returned to the host unchanged for all larger wLength values. | ||||
| CVE-2026-13473 | 1 Ibm | 1 Storage Protect Client | 2026-07-21 | 8.1 High |

| Network-AI before 5.13.4 contains an improper cryptographic signature verification vulnerability in APSAdapter where the default local verifier accepts any non-empty string as valid. Unauthenticated attackers can submit forged APS delegation payloads with arbitrary scopes to bypass signature verification and obtain signed permission-grant tokens for sensitive resources including SHELL_EXEC. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64082 | 1 Linux | 2 Kernel, Linux Kernel | 2026-07-21 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: riscv: Fix register corruption from uninitialized cregs on error compat_riscv_gpr_set() calls cregs_to_regs() unconditionally, even when user_regset_copyin() fails. Since cregs is an uninitialized stack variable, a copyin failure causes uninitialized stack data to be written into the target task's pt_regs, corrupting its register state and potentially leaking kernel stack contents. compat_restore_sigcontext() has the same issue: it calls cregs_to_regs() even when __copy_from_user() fails, leading to the same corruption of the signal-returning task's register state on error. Only call cregs_to_regs() when the user copy succeeds. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64088 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-21 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: tt: fix negative tt_buff_len batadv_orig_node::tt_buff_len was declared as s16, but the field is never intended to hold a negative value. When a value greater than 32767 is assigned, it wraps to a negative signed integer. In batadv_send_other_tt_response(), tt_buff_len is temporarily widened to s32. The incorrectly negative s16 value propagates into the s32, causing batadv_tt_prepare_tvlv_global_data() to allocate a full sized buffer but populates only a small portion of it with the collected changeset. All remaining bits are kept uninitialized. Using an u16 avoids this type confusion and ensures that no (negative) sign extension is performed in batadv_send_other_tt_response(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-63919 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-21 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: input: hold netns during deferred transport reinjection Transport-mode reinjection stores a struct net pointer in skb->cb and uses it later from xfrm_trans_reinject(). That pointer must stay valid until the deferred callback runs. Take a netns reference when queueing deferred reinjection work and drop it after the callback completes. Use maybe_get_net() so the queueing path does not revive a namespace that is already being torn down. This keeps the existing workqueue design and fixes the netns lifetime handling in one place for all users of xfrm_trans_queue_net(). | ||||
