CVE-2026-46062 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-27 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: fix integer overflow in run_unpack() volume boundary check The volume boundary check `lcn + len > sbi->used.bitmap.nbits` uses raw addition which can wrap around for large lcn and len values, bypassing the validation. Use check_add_overflow() as is already done for the adjacent prev_lcn + dlcn and vcn64 + len checks added by commit 3ac37e100385 ("ntfs3: Fix integer overflow in run_unpack()"). Found by fuzzing with a source-patched harness (LibAFL + QEMU).
CVE-2026-46076 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-27 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: nSVM: Raise #UD if unhandled VMMCALL isn't intercepted by L1 Explicitly synthesize a #UD for VMMCALL if L2 is active, L1 does NOT want to intercept VMMCALL, nested_svm_l2_tlb_flush_enabled() is true, and the hypercall is something other than one of the supported Hyper-V hypercalls. When all of the above conditions are met, KVM will intercept VMMCALL but never forward it to L1, i.e. will let L2 make hypercalls as if it were L1. The TLFS says a whole lot of nothing about this scenario, so go with the architectural behavior, which says that VMMCALL #UDs if it's not intercepted. Opportunistically do a 2-for-1 stub trade by stub-ifying the new API instead of the helpers it uses. The last remaining "single" stub will soon be dropped as well. [sean: rewrite changelog and comment, tag for stable, remove defunct stubs]
CVE-2026-46080 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-27 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: split transactions in dio completion to avoid credit exhaustion During ocfs2 dio operations, JBD2 may report warnings via following call trace: ocfs2_dio_end_io_write ocfs2_mark_extent_written ocfs2_change_extent_flag ocfs2_split_extent ocfs2_try_to_merge_extent ocfs2_extend_rotate_transaction ocfs2_extend_trans jbd2__journal_restart start_this_handle output: JBD2: kworker/6:2 wants too many credits credits:5450 rsv_credits:0 max:5449 To prevent exceeding the credits limit, modify ocfs2_dio_end_io_write() to handle extents in a batch of transaction. Additionally, relocate ocfs2_del_inode_from_orphan(). The orphan inode should only be removed from the orphan list after the extent tree update is complete. This ensures that if a crash occurs in the middle of extent tree updates, we won't leave stale blocks beyond EOF. This patch also changes the logic for updating the inode size and removing orphan, making it similar to ext4_dio_write_end_io(). Both operations are performed only when everything looks good. Finally, thanks to Jans and Joseph for providing the bug fix prototype and suggestions.
CVE-2026-46091 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-27 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: rc: igorplugusb: heed coherency rules In a control request, the USB request structure can be subject to DMA on some HCs. Hence it must obey the rules for DMA coherency. Allocate it separately.
CVE-2026-46095 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-27 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/md-llbitmap: raise barrier before state machine transition Move the barrier raise operation before calling llbitmap_state_machine() in both llbitmap_start_write() and llbitmap_start_discard(). This ensures the barrier is in place before any state transitions occur, preventing potential race conditions where the state machine could complete before the barrier is properly raised.
CVE-2026-45953 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-27 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid5: fix IO hang with degraded array with llbitmap When llbitmap bit state is still unwritten, any new write should force rcw, as bitmap_ops->blocks_synced() is checked in handle_stripe_dirtying(). However, later the same check is missing in need_this_block(), causing stripe to deadloop during handling because handle_stripe() will decide to go to handle_stripe_fill(), meanwhile need_this_block() always return 0 and nothing is handled.
CVE-2026-42572 2 Hatchet, Hatchet-dev 2 Hatchet, Hatchet 2026-05-27 5.3 Medium
Hatchet is a platform for orchestrating background tasks, AI agents, and durable workflows at scale. Prior to 0.83.39, a missing authorization directive on the GET /api/v1/stable/dags/tasks endpoint caused Hatchet's tenant-membership check to be skipped for this route. A user authenticated to any tenant on the same Hatchet instance could query the endpoint with another tenant's UUID and a DAG UUID belonging to that tenant, and receive task metadata for that DAG. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.83.39.
CVE-2026-44713 2026-05-27 8.8 High
pam_usb provides hardware authentication for Linux using ordinary removable media. Prior to 0.8.7, src/tmux.c reads the user's $TMUX environment variable, splits it on commas, and interpolates the socket-path component directly into a shell command passed to popen(). Because the value is placed inside double-quotes without sanitisation, any value containing " terminates the quoted string and injects arbitrary shell syntax. popen() runs as root inside the PAM stack. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.7.
CVE-2025-43290 1 Apple 1 Macos 2026-05-27 5.5 Medium
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7, macOS Sonoma 14.8, macOS Tahoe 26. An app may be able to modify protected parts of the file system.

CVE-2026-47274 2026-05-27 6.3 Medium
pam_usb provides hardware authentication for Linux using ordinary removable media. Prior to 0.9.0, multiple pam_usb helper tools resolved external binaries through the PATH environment variable rather than using absolute paths. An attacker who can influence the process environment during PAM authentication or tool execution could substitute malicious binaries. The affected tools are pamusb-check (src/tmux.c), pamusb-conf (tools/pamusb-conf), and pamusb-keyring-unlock-gnome (tools/pamusb-keyring-unlock-gnome). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.0.
CVE-2025-43451 1 Apple 1 Macos 2026-05-27 5.5 Medium

CVE-2026-45904 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-27 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/eeh: fix recursive pci_lock_rescan_remove locking in EEH event handling The recent commit 1010b4c012b0 ("powerpc/eeh: Make EEH driver device hotplug safe") restructured the EEH driver to improve synchronization with the PCI hotplug layer. However, it inadvertently moved pci_lock_rescan_remove() outside its intended scope in eeh_handle_normal_event(), leading to broken PCI error reporting and improper EEH event triggering. Specifically, eeh_handle_normal_event() acquired pci_lock_rescan_remove() before calling eeh_pe_bus_get(), but eeh_pe_bus_get() itself attempts to acquire the same lock internally, causing nested locking and disrupting normal EEH event handling paths. This patch adds a boolean parameter do_lock to _eeh_pe_bus_get(), with two public wrappers: eeh_pe_bus_get() with locking enabled. eeh_pe_bus_get_nolock() that skips locking. Callers that already hold pci_lock_rescan_remove() now use eeh_pe_bus_get_nolock() to avoid recursive lock acquisition. Additionally, pci_lock_rescan_remove() calls are restored to the correct position—after eeh_pe_bus_get() and immediately before iterating affected PEs and devices. This ensures EEH-triggered PCI removes occur under proper bus rescan locking without recursive lock contention. The eeh_pe_loc_get() function has been split into two functions: eeh_pe_loc_get(struct eeh_pe *pe) which retrieves the loc for given PE. eeh_pe_loc_get_bus(struct pci_bus *bus) which retrieves the location code for given bus. This resolves lockdep warnings such as: <snip> [ 84.964298] [ T928] ============================================ [ 84.964304] [ T928] WARNING: possible recursive locking detected [ 84.964311] [ T928] 6.18.0-rc3 #51 Not tainted [ 84.964315] [ T928] -------------------------------------------- [ 84.964320] [ T928] eehd/928 is trying to acquire lock: [ 84.964324] [ T928] c000000003b29d58 (pci_rescan_remove_lock){+.+.}-{3:3}, at: pci_lock_rescan_remove+0x28/0x40 [ 84.964342] [ T928] but task is already holding lock: [ 84.964347] [ T928] c000000003b29d58 (pci_rescan_remove_lock){+.+.}-{3:3}, at: pci_lock_rescan_remove+0x28/0x40 [ 84.964357] [ T928] other info that might help us debug this: [ 84.964363] [ T928] Possible unsafe locking scenario: [ 84.964367] [ T928] CPU0 [ 84.964370] [ T928] ---- [ 84.964373] [ T928] lock(pci_rescan_remove_lock); [ 84.964378] [ T928] lock(pci_rescan_remove_lock); [ 84.964383] [ T928] *** DEADLOCK *** [ 84.964388] [ T928] May be due to missing lock nesting notation [ 84.964393] [ T928] 1 lock held by eehd/928: [ 84.964397] [ T928] #0: c000000003b29d58 (pci_rescan_remove_lock){+.+.}-{3:3}, at: pci_lock_rescan_remove+0x28/0x40 [ 84.964408] [ T928] stack backtrace: [ 84.964414] [ T928] CPU: 2 UID: 0 PID: 928 Comm: eehd Not tainted 6.18.0-rc3 #51 VOLUNTARY [ 84.964417] [ T928] Hardware name: IBM,9080-HEX POWER10 (architected) 0x800200 0xf000006 of:IBM,FW1060.00 (NH1060_022) hv:phyp pSeries [ 84.964419] [ T928] Call Trace: [ 84.964420] [ T928] [c0000011a7157990] [c000000001705de4] dump_stack_lvl+0xc8/0x130 (unreliable) [ 84.964424] [ T928] [c0000011a71579d0] [c0000000002f66e0] print_deadlock_bug+0x430/0x440 [ 84.964428] [ T928] [c0000011a7157a70] [c0000000002fd0c0] __lock_acquire+0x1530/0x2d80 [ 84.964431] [ T928] [c0000011a7157ba0] [c0000000002fea54] lock_acquire+0x144/0x410 [ 84.964433] [ T928] [c0000011a7157cb0] [c0000011a7157cb0] __mutex_lock+0xf4/0x1050 [ 84.964436] [ T928] [c0000011a7157e00] [c000000000de21d8] pci_lock_rescan_remove+0x28/0x40 [ 84.964439] [ T928] [c0000011a7157e20] [c00000000004ed98] eeh_pe_bus_get+0x48/0xc0 [ 84.964442] [ T928] [c0000011a7157e50] [c00000 ---truncated---
