| CVE-2026-33941 | 1 Handlebarsjs | 1 Handlebars | 2026-04-01 | 8.3 High |
| Handlebars provides the power necessary to let users build semantic templates. In versions 4.0.0 through 4.7.8, the Handlebars CLI precompiler (`bin/handlebars` / `lib/precompiler.js`) concatenates user-controlled strings — template file names and several CLI options — directly into the JavaScript it emits, without any escaping or sanitization. An attacker who can influence template filenames or CLI arguments can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes when the generated bundle is loaded in Node.js or a browser. Version 4.7.9 fixes the issue. Some workarounds are available. First, validate all CLI inputs before invoking the precompiler. Reject filenames and option values that contain characters with JavaScript string-escaping significance (`"`, `'`, `;`, etc.). Second, use a fixed, trusted namespace string passed via a configuration file rather than command-line arguments in automated pipelines. Third, run the precompiler in a sandboxed environment (container with no write access to sensitive paths) to limit the impact of successful exploitation. Fourth, audit template filenames in any repository or package that is consumed by an automated build pipeline. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33045 | 1 Home-assistant | 2 Core, Home-assistant | 2026-04-01 | 5.4 Medium |
| Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Starting in version 2025.02 and prior to version 2026.01 the "remaining charge time"-sensor for mobile phones (imported/included from Android Auto it appears) is vulnerable cross-site scripting, similar to CVE-2025-62172. Version 2026.01 fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-2328 | 1 Wago | 2 Device Sphere, Solution Builder | 2026-03-31 | 7.5 High |
| An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit insufficient input validation to access backend components beyond their intended scope via path traversal, resulting in exposure of sensitive information. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33979 | 2 Ahmedadelfahim, Express Xss Sanitizer Project | 2 Express-xss-sanitizer, Express Xss Sanitizer | 2026-03-31 | 8.2 High |
| Express XSS Sanitizer is Express 4.x and 5.x middleware which sanitizes user input data (in req.body, req.query, req.headers and req.params) to prevent Cross Site Scripting (XSS) attack. A vulnerability has been identified in versions prior to 2.0.2 where restrictive sanitization configurations are silently ignored. In version 2.0.2, the validation logic has been updated to respect explicitly provided empty configurations. Now, if allowedTags or allowedAttributes are provided (even if empty), they are passed directly to sanitize-html without being overridden. | ||||
| CVE-2026-28297 | 1 Solarwinds | 1 Observability Self-hosted | 2026-03-31 | 6.1 Medium |
| SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted was found to be affected by a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability, which when exploited, can lead to unintended script execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-28298 | 1 Solarwinds | 1 Observability Self-hosted | 2026-03-31 | 5.9 Medium |
| SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted was found to be affected by a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability, which when exploited, can lead to unintended script execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33402 | 2 Sakailms, Sakaiproject | 2 Sakai, Sakai | 2026-03-31 | 6.1 Medium |
| Sakai is a Collaboration and Learning Environment (CLE). In versions 23.0 through 23.4 and 25.0 through 25.1, group titles and description can contain cross-site scripting scripts. The patch is included in releases 25.2 and 23.5. As a workaround, one can check the SAKAI_SITE_GROUP table for titles and descriptions that contain this info. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33664 | 2 Kestra, Kestra-io | 2 Kestra, Kestra | 2026-03-31 | 7.3 High |
| Kestra is an open-source, event-driven orchestration platform Versions up to and including 1.3.3 render user-supplied flow YAML metadata fields — description, inputs[].displayName, inputs[].description — through the Markdown.vue component instantiated with html: true. The resulting HTML is injected into the DOM via Vue's v-html without any sanitization. This allows a flow author to embed arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the browser of any user who views or interacts with the flow. This is distinct from GHSA-r36c-83hm-pc8j / CVE-2026-29082, which covers only FilePreview.vue rendering .md files from execution outputs. The present finding affects different components, different data sources, and requires significantly less user interaction (zero-click for input.displayName). As of time of publication, it is unclear if a patch is available. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33916 | 1 Handlebarsjs | 1 Handlebars | 2026-03-31 | 4.7 Medium |
| Handlebars provides the power necessary to let users build semantic templates. In versions 4.0.0 through 4.7.8, `resolvePartial()` in the Handlebars runtime resolves partial names via a plain property lookup on `options.partials` without guarding against prototype-chain traversal. When `Object.prototype` has been polluted with a string value whose key matches a partial reference in a template, the polluted string is used as the partial body and rendered without HTML escaping, resulting in reflected or stored XSS. Version 4.7.9 fixes the issue. Some workarounds are available. Apply `Object.freeze(Object.prototype)` early in application startup to prevent prototype pollution. Note: this may break other libraries, and/or use the Handlebars runtime-only build (`handlebars/runtime`), which does not compile templates and reduces the attack surface. | ||||
| CVE-2026-32866 | 2 Opexus, Opexustech | 2 Ecase, Ecase Ecomplaint | 2026-03-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| OPEXUS eComplaint and eCASE before 10.2.0.0 do not correctly sanitize the contents of first and last name fields in a user profile. An authenticated attacker can inject parts of an XSS payload in their first and last name fields. The payload is executed when the user's full name is rendered. The attacker can run script in the context of a victim's session. | ||||
| CVE-2026-32868 | 2 Opexus, Opexustech | 3 Ecase, Ecomplaint, Ecase Ecomplaint | 2026-03-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| OPEXUS eComplaint and eCASE before 10.2.0.0 do not correctly sanitize the contents of first and last name fields in the 'My Information' screen. An authenticated attacker can inject parts of an XSS payload in the first and last name fields. The payload is executed when the full name is rendered. The attacker can run script in the context of a victim's session. | ||||
