CVE-2025-3859 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox Focus 2026-04-20 4.3 Medium
Websites directing users to long URLs that caused eliding to occur in the location view could leverage the truncating behavior to potentially trick users into thinking they were on a different webpage. This vulnerability was fixed in Focus 138.
CVE-2025-3875 2 Mozilla, Redhat 6 Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2026-04-20 7.5 High
Thunderbird parses addresses in a way that can allow sender spoofing in case the server allows an invalid From address to be used. For example, if the From header contains an (invalid) value "Spoofed Name ", Thunderbird treats spoofed@example.com as the actual address. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 128.10.1 and Thunderbird 138.0.1.
CVE-2025-3909 2 Mozilla, Redhat 6 Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2026-04-20 8.1 High
Thunderbird's handling of the X-Mozilla-External-Attachment-URL header can be exploited to execute JavaScript in the file:/// context. By crafting a nested email attachment (message/rfc822) and setting its content type to application/pdf, Thunderbird may incorrectly render it as HTML when opened, allowing the embedded JavaScript to run without requiring a file download. This behavior relies on Thunderbird auto-saving the attachment to /tmp and linking to it via the file:/// protocol, potentially enabling JavaScript execution as part of the HTML. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 128.10.1 and Thunderbird 138.0.1.
CVE-2025-4918 2 Mozilla, Redhat 8 Firefox, Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-04-20 9.8 Critical

CVE-2025-4919 2 Mozilla, Redhat 8 Firefox, Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-04-20 8.8 High
An attacker was able to perform an out-of-bounds read or write on a JavaScript object by confusing array index sizes. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 138.0.4, Firefox ESR 128.10.1, Firefox ESR 115.23.1, Thunderbird 128.10.2, and Thunderbird 138.0.2.
CVE-2025-5265 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox 2026-04-20 4.8 Medium
Due to insufficient escaping of the ampersand character in the “Copy as cURL” feature, an attacker could trick a user into using this command, potentially leading to local code execution on the user's system. *This bug only affects Firefox for Windows. Other versions of Firefox are unaffected.*. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 139, Firefox ESR 115.24, Firefox ESR 128.11, Thunderbird 139, and Thunderbird 128.11.

Script elements loading cross-origin resources generated load and error events which leaked information enabling XS-Leaks attacks. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 139, Firefox ESR 128.11, Thunderbird 139, and Thunderbird 128.11.
CVE-2025-5267 2 Mozilla, Redhat 7 Firefox, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2026-04-20 5.4 Medium
A clickjacking vulnerability could have been used to trick a user into leaking saved payment card details to a malicious page. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 139, Firefox ESR 128.11, Thunderbird 139, and Thunderbird 128.11.
CVE-2025-5268 2 Mozilla, Redhat 8 Firefox, Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-04-20 8.1 High
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 138, Thunderbird 138, Firefox ESR 128.10, and Thunderbird 128.10. CVE-2025-2884 2026-04-20 6.6 Medium
TCG TPM2.0 Reference implementation's CryptHmacSign helper function is vulnerable to Out-of-Bounds read due to the lack of validation the signature scheme with the signature key's algorithm. See Errata Revision 1.83 and advisory TCGVRT0009 for TCG standard TPM2.0

CVE-2025-49709 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox 2026-04-20 9.8 Critical
Certain canvas operations could have lead to memory corruption. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 139.0.4.
CVE-2025-5986 2 Mozilla, Redhat 6 Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2026-04-20 6.5 Medium
A crafted HTML email using mailbox:/// links can trigger automatic, unsolicited downloads of .pdf files to the user's desktop or home directory without prompting, even if auto-saving is disabled. This behavior can be abused to fill the disk with garbage data (e.g. using /dev/urandom on Linux) or to leak Windows credentials via SMB links when the email is viewed in HTML mode. While user interaction is required to download the .pdf file, visual obfuscation can conceal the download trigger. Viewing the email in HTML mode is enough to load external content. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 128.11.1 and Thunderbird 139.0.2.
CVE-2026-34765 2 Electron, Electronjs 2 Electron, Electron 2026-04-20 6 Medium
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.5, 40.8.5, 41.1.0, and 42.0.0-alpha.5, when a renderer calls window.open() with a target name, Electron did not correctly scope the named-window lookup to the opener's browsing context group. A renderer could navigate an existing child window that was opened by a different, unrelated renderer if both used the same target name. If that existing child was created with more permissive webPreferences (via setWindowOpenHandler's overrideBrowserWindowOptions), content loaded by the second renderer inherits those permissions. Apps are only affected if they open multiple top-level windows with differing trust levels and use setWindowOpenHandler to grant child windows elevated webPreferences such as a privileged preload script. Apps that do not elevate child window privileges, or that use a single top-level window, are not affected. Apps that additionally grant nodeIntegration: true or sandbox: false to child windows (contrary to the security recommendations) may be exposed to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 39.8.5, 40.8.5, 41.1.0, and 42.0.0-alpha.5.
CVE-2026-40917 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-20 5 Medium
A flaw was found in GIMP. This vulnerability, a heap buffer over-read in the `icns_slurp()` function, occurs when processing specially crafted ICNS image files. An attacker could provide a malicious ICNS file, potentially leading to application crashes or information disclosure on systems that process such files.
CVE-2026-40918 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-20 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GIMP. Processing a specially crafted PVR image file with large dimensions can lead to a denial of service (DoS). This occurs due to a stack-based buffer overflow and an out-of-bounds read in the PVR image loader, causing the application to crash. Systems that process untrusted PVR image files are affected.
