| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: mediatek: Avoid btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf() NULL deref In btusb_mtk_setup(), we set `btmtk_data->isopkt_intf` to: usb_ifnum_to_if(data->udev, MTK_ISO_IFNUM) That function can return NULL in some cases. Even when it returns NULL, though, we still go on to call btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf(). As of commit e9087e828827 ("Bluetooth: btusb: mediatek: Add locks for usb_driver_claim_interface()"), calling btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf() when `btmtk_data->isopkt_intf` is NULL will cause a crash because we'll end up passing a bad pointer to device_lock(). Prior to that commit we'd pass the NULL pointer directly to usb_driver_claim_interface() which would detect it and return an error, which was handled. Resolve the crash in btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf() by adding a NULL check at the start of the function. This makes the code handle a NULL `btmtk_data->isopkt_intf` the same way it did before the problematic commit (just with a slight change to the error message printed). | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atlantic: fix fragment overflow handling in RX path The atlantic driver can receive packets with more than MAX_SKB_FRAGS (17) fragments when handling large multi-descriptor packets. This causes an out-of-bounds write in skb_add_rx_frag_netmem() leading to kernel panic. The issue occurs because the driver doesn't check the total number of fragments before calling skb_add_rx_frag(). When a packet requires more than MAX_SKB_FRAGS fragments, the fragment index exceeds the array bounds. Fix by assuming there will be an extra frag if buff->len > AQ_CFG_RX_HDR_SIZE, then all fragments are accounted for. And reusing the existing check to prevent the overflow earlier in the code path. This crash occurred in production with an Aquantia AQC113 10G NIC. | Odin Secure FTP <= 4.1 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow when parsing directory listings received in response to an FTP LIST command. A malicious FTP server can send an overly long filename in the directory listing, which overflows a fixed-size stack buffer in the client and overwrites the Structured Exception Handler (SEH). | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: lookup hci_conn on RX path on protocol side The hdev lock/lookup/unlock/use pattern in the packet RX path doesn't ensure hci_conn* is not concurrently modified/deleted. This locking appears to be leftover from before conn_hash started using RCU commit bf4c63252490b ("Bluetooth: convert conn hash to RCU") and not clear if it had purpose since then. Currently, there are code paths that delete hci_conn* from elsewhere than the ordered hdev->workqueue where the RX work runs in. E.g. commit 5af1f84ed13a ("Bluetooth: hci_sync: Fix UAF on hci_abort_conn_sync") introduced some of these, and there probably were a few others before it. It's better to do the locking so that even if these run concurrently no UAF is possible. However, in nbd_start_device_ioctl(), after being woken up it explicitly calls flush_workqueue() to make sure all current works are finished. Therefore, there is no need to move the config put ahead of the wakeup. Move nbd_config_put() to the end of recv_work, so that the reference is held for the whole lifetime of the worker thread. This makes sure the config cannot be freed while recv_work is still running, even if clear + reconfigure interleave. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: fix readahead reclaim deadlock Commit e26ee4efbc79 ("fuse: allocate ff->release_args only if release is needed") skips allocating ff->release_args if the server does not implement open. However in doing so, fuse_prepare_release() now skips grabbing the reference on the inode, which makes it possible for an inode to be evicted from the dcache while there are inflight readahead requests. This causes a deadlock if the server triggers reclaim while servicing the readahead request and reclaim attempts to evict the inode of the file being read ahead. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ublk: clean up user copy references on ublk server exit If a ublk server process releases a ublk char device file, any requests dispatched to the ublk server but not yet completed will retain a ref value of UBLK_REFCOUNT_INIT. Before commit e63d2228ef83 ("ublk: simplify aborting ublk request"), __ublk_fail_req() would decrement the reference count before completing the failed request. However, that commit optimized __ublk_fail_req() to call __ublk_complete_rq() directly without decrementing the request reference count. The leaked reference count incorrectly allows user copy and zero copy operations on the completed ublk request. It also triggers the WARN_ON_ONCE(refcount_read(&io->ref)) warnings in ublk_queue_reinit() and ublk_deinit_queue(). Commit c5c5eb24ed61 ("ublk: avoid ublk_io_release() called after ublk char dev is closed") already fixed the issue for ublk devices using UBLK_F_SUPPORT_ZERO_COPY or UBLK_F_AUTO_BUF_REG. However, the reference count leak also affects UBLK_F_USER_COPY, the other reference-counted data copy mode. Fix the condition in ublk_check_and_reset_active_ref() to include all reference-counted data copy modes. This ensures that any ublk requests still owned by the ublk server when it exits have their reference counts reset to 0. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: smartpqi: Fix device resources accessed after device removal Correct possible race conditions during device removal. Previously, a scheduled work item to reset a LUN could still execute after the device was removed, leading to use-after-free and other resource access issues. This race condition occurs because the abort handler may schedule a LUN reset concurrently with device removal via sdev_destroy(), leading to use-after-free and improper access to freed resources. - Check in the device reset handler if the device is still present in the controller's SCSI device list before running; if not, the reset is skipped. - Cancel any pending TMF work that has not started in sdev_destroy(). - Ensure device freeing in sdev_destroy() is done while holding the LUN reset mutex to avoid races with ongoing resets. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix peer HE MCS assignment In ath11k_wmi_send_peer_assoc_cmd(), peer's transmit MCS is sent to firmware as receive MCS while peer's receive MCS sent as transmit MCS, which goes against firmwire's definition. While connecting to a misbehaved AP that advertises 0xffff (meaning not supported) for 160 MHz transmit MCS map, firmware crashes due to 0xffff is assigned to he_mcs->rx_mcs_set field.
